This site is set twenty-one years after the completion of the Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling. Hogwarts has returned mostly to normal (of course, how much is ever really normal at Hogwarts?). The names and faces have changed... new students, new teachers, Hogwarts is truly entering a new era under the leadership of a new Headmistress, Caira LaPointe. For the first time in years, things seem to be going fairly smoothly... except for a growing tension with a pack of rogue dementors roaming the Forbidden Forest at night... and activity by... darker beings. Tensions are steadily growing and each side is preparing themselves; swelling their ranks for the imminent war between the light and the darkness.
Both sides have begun building their armies... where will your loyalties lie?

Here you will find all the rules and information you need to get started, plus news and updates. After you have read the rules, venture to the Sorting Hat to post your character profile and let the games begin!
You can keep your bowlers black, Your top hats sleek and tall, For I'm the Hogwarts Sorting Hat And I can cap them all. There's nothing hidden in your head The Sorting Hat can't see, So try me on and I will tell you Where you ought to be.
This is an Out of Character board. Anything that is found in here will have nothing to do with Hogwarts or the Wizarding World. In other words, this is a place to be yourself.
You have your own gaming board here! A special sub-board for poetry, another one that details PLOTS WITH OTHER CHARACTERS (and people requesting plots), and absent notes!
Note - Your post count will not go up when you post here (just to prevent spamming or any temptation to spam).
A visitor to the Ministry of Magic comes to a broken-down red telephone box located on a dingy street which has several shabby offices, a pub, and a wall covered with graffiti. When the telephone in the box is dialed MAGIC, the welcome witch's voice answers, not from the phone but from the air as if the person is standing right there. Visitors must state their business, upon which a silver badge pops out with the visitor's name and purpose of visit. Then the telephone box drops down like a lift for about one minute, after which the visitor is in the Atrium.
St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries is reached via Purge and Dowse, Ltd. in Muggle London. Purge and Dowse, Ltd. is a red-brick, old-fashioned department store that has "Closed for Refurbishment" signs hanging on its doors. One speaks to the ugly dummy in the front window, who will nod its assent and beckon you to enter. In a process very similar to how one gets onto Platform 9 and 3/4, one walks into the window. The Healers at St. Mungo's are trained and equipped to treat a wide variety of magic-related illnesses and injuries. The staff wear lime green robes. The St. Mungo's emblem is a wand and a bone, crossed.
Welcome to Hogsmeade! This is the gateway where many students have their first glimpse of the wizarding world. Also, a popular getaway when the rigors of school life have become too much. Here you will find:
Hungry for a midnight snack? Or perhaps you just need to get to your Potions class on time. Here in the Dungeons of Hogwarts you'll find everything from elves to stone gargoyles.
The official entrance to the castle, where you can enjoy a fabulous meal in the Great Hall. The Hufflepuffs also find their home here, and the Ball Room (for those very special events). Careful as you climb the stairs though, Hogwarts likes to rearrange itself on a whim.
Got bitten by an animal you've never seen before? Well whether you want to look it up in the library or have the school nurse treat you, this is the floor for you. This floor also contains the Transfiguration and Muggle Studies classrooms as the well as the professors' offices.
Careful where you go if nature calls; it's on this floor where Myrtle claims her residence. Although, it might be nice to visit her since she probably gets very lonely. This is also where you'll find classrooms for History of Magic and Arithmancy...try not to fall asleep.
Defense Against the Dark Arts, Charms and the Forbidden Corridor, oh my! Not much else to say about this floor...except that it's above the second and below the fourth. Don't let Fluffy get you.
Ah Ancient Runes. Careful with those translations, you might accidentally set your pet owl on fire if you're not careful. Ravenclaws may also find their common room here, where they can stare at the painting of an old horcrux...future horcrux?...not sure about the time syntax with that one.
There's a large corridor here, where you might be able to meet some new people between classes. Also, the glorious Prefect Bathroom is housed here as well. Wish I had a tub that big...
Another large corridor on this floor as well, as well as the infamous Room of Requirement or Come and Go Room. However, for now this room is reserved for Shadow War RPing. And if you get an owl from the Headmistress, you'll find the appropriate office here.
Need to send a letter? You'll find the Owlry here, as well as the Astronomy Tower. The brave and chivalrous Gryffindors can get into their common room on this floor. Don't forget to stop by Divinations for a tea reading!
Need some fresh air? Pop out onto the courtyard for a bit and sit underneath an oak tree. Perhaps go in the gardens, or even Potter Park. But beware the Forbidden Forest; far more dangerous things lurk within those trees than you'll find int any Care of Magical Creatures lesson. There is still a curfew for students to be on the grounds only from 10 am until 4 pm.
