D'rorah stood quietly, waiting for Bryan to speak again. She had no idea what his reaction might be. In truth, she wasn't looking forward to the ordeal of joining with another Elemental Master. The ordeal was always emotionally trying and uncomfortable. Besides, given her history, she almost felt as though she were sentencing the young man to death... certainly that had been the end for her previous Elemental Masters.
When he finally spoke, she felt relieved that he recognized the gravity of the situation and was prepared to face it. She also felt a certain sense of dread regarding the new joining. "Yes, it is a large amount of information," she agreed. "Take more time to process it. I am always fairly easy to find." She took a deep breath and headed for the door, still intent on finding the solitude she had been craving before. Bryan wasn't the only one with a lot to process.
She reached out her hand to grasp the doorknob and paused, turning to look back at Bryan as though she had something to say. Her eyes flicked over him slowly, as though searching for the words she had meant to say. Apparently either coming up with nothing or deciding against saying anything further, she instead pulled the door open, turned, and continued on her way through the door and began the descent down the spiraling staircase.

Bryan inclined his head at her words. However, he remained silent. He seemed to be remaining silent quite a bit around this girl. However, it was probably for the best. Even though questions now streamed in his mind, he was no closer to truly understanding anything. There was much she had already told him and there was even more she didn't tell him he wagered. However, how did one really go about processing it all?
One could turn it over in their mind a million times but still something would probably crop up and with no source around to ask it would remain. However, now it seemed that Bryan was left with a feeling of foreboding. He watched as D'rorah left the Astronomy tower. She had seemed on the verge to say something else, but like Bryan, she had held her tongue and merely left.
Once more Bryan was left alone at the top of the tower. His artistic block was gone and now on a page but he did not feel the urge to draw. Instead, his mind was now plague with all the information he had just learned. More than once he just wondered what the hell had he just gotten into. He recalled her saying the last Elemental Master of Wind had died. This was clearly a sense that death was a larger possibility in this. He would be putting his life on the line. He had agreed to do it.
Even as he thought more about it, Bryan did not think about backing out. He had said he would not shirk this and he did not intend to. He just hoped he would not prove an utter disappointment to D'rorah and whoever else was involved in this. Bryan pushed the pencil behind his ear before he flipped his sketchbook shut, hiding the sketch of the two symbols.
So much to process. So much to try and understand. He doubted he would really get a strong grasp of it. Bryan got to his feet and walked to the window and stared out it. His eyes lingered on the star cluttered sky before drifting to the forbidden forest. He stood there a few moments, seeing but not really seeing. His mind moving. He stood there for he didn't know how long before he turned away and picked up his sketchbook from the floor. Tucking it under his arm, he left the tower room to go to his dorm.
He did not expect to receive any sleep this night.
