"Some people just don't, ah... what's the word," he pondered his reply carefully, "Connect with wands very well, sometimes their a bigger hassle than they're worth y'know?" His reply was slow and, almost, seemed absent-minded, if it weren't for the fact that he'd sat and search for the right words. The only proof he had to show for his statement resided in his right hand, the reddish wood with the small spark on the end, which did little to attest to what he knew to be true. Her next barrage of questions however caught him dumb-founded; not once since his first year had anyone from Ollivander's ever offered a different wand, but her last question confused him even further, 'How does it feel?' he repeated silently within his mind. "Um well," he started as he looked down at the wand, "My right arms kinda... I dunno it's almost like it tickles and hurts at the same time. But something......" He trailed off not wanting to bother the girl any longer with his meaningless problem, "Y'know what, it's nothing, thanks, bye." He smiled heartily, turning on his heel and heading out the door offer a friendly wave as he left. Just as the door closed a simple thought occurred to him, "Maybe I should have told her about it..." He shrugged it off, however, not wanting to give the mater, and headed of toward the station, tucking his wand away in the deep thick pants pockets.
((OOC: Gah... I hate it but, Meh, need somethin' to get back in the swing of things y'know?))

==================NEW DAY===================== D'rorah opened the doors of the wand shop, letting in the breezes from outside to try to alleviate the growing heat of the oncoming summer. It was a lovely day outside, and to enjoy it, she brought her stool out and set it in front of the open door. Her text was perched in her lap. She occasionally flipped to a new page, reading quietly from the large text, lettered in elegant Arabic script. She waited patiently to see if anyone would stop by for a wand today, pleased to have quiet time away from the clamor of Hogwarts to work on her research.
Out in the street, people went about their business around her. Other stores opened and closed. People wandered in the streets, shopping or browsing. Several of the other shops had propped their doors and windows open as well, in order to take advantage of the weather.
Inside, the shop was clean, bright, and organized. D'rorah had quickly cleaned, organized, and catalogued everything within the wand shop when she had taken over as the clerk. Gone were the days of dust and jumbled boxes.

Stephen wended his way through Diagon Alley, being shoved and pushed around on his way. As he reached the middle of the street, he saw a small shop with a sign hanging over the storefront: "Ollivander's: Makers of Fine Wands since 382 B.C." Frowning, Stephen considered quickly; he was already nearly passing the shop, and he wanted to check it out. Turning decisively on the spot, Stephen walked into the store. It was clean and well-organized. He thought he smelled a hint of lavender among the shelves. As he walked in, Stephen felt the warmness of the shop cover him. It was a very comfortable feeling. Stephen decided he would get a good look around. There were thousands upon thousands of small, thin boxes stacked on the shelves. He supposed that each one held a different wand. Just as this thought struck him, he wondered curiously how old these wands were; the shop was two thousand, four hundred and one years old, after all. Stephen walked back to the front of the shop and rummaged in his pocket. His fingers found a small piece of parchment. Taking it out, Stephen smoothed out the parchment and handed it to the store clerk. It read: Name: Stephen Wade Preferred Wand Length: At least 10 inches About: I'm not taking any classes, but my favorite subject is Potions.

D'rorah lifted her head from her book as a young man approached the shop. He had seemed about to walk past when he suddenly turned on the spot and walked in. Stepping down from her stool, she headed in after him. She made her way to the counter calmly as he surveyed the shop, looking around at the contents.
She was happy she had cleaned the place up. This store had been a complete mess of dust and disorder when she had first come her to tend it... even the previous shop keep had no idea where anything was... or even what all was in the shop in the first place. She would never understand how anyone could service a customer without knowing the inventory. Already, as he walked into the store, she was watching him, weighing options for what wand might suit him. The parchment would be the final piece of the puzzle that would pinpoint the exact wand for this customer.
She offered a polite smile, conjured solely for business purposes, as he handed her the swatch of parchment before reading over the parchment. She didn't often bother with smiles. With her odd appearance, they weren't usually reciprocated. Pale skin, grey eyes, blond hair liberally streaked with wide swaths of early grey (all tightly fastened up in an intricate coif to keep it out of her way), and robes that reached from chin to toe with sleeves that reached just past her wrists all teamed up to make her look somewhat severe and imposing.
[blue]"I believe I have just the thing, Mister Wade,"[/blue] she remarked. [blue]"Pardon me for one moment."[/blue] With that, she stepped from behind the counter and made her way to a shelf over by the window, selected a box from among the others that were neatly stacked there. She carried it back to the counter and set it down in front of him before gently prising the lid open to reveal the wand contained within. [blue]This wand is eleven and one-half inches hemlock with a core of unicorn hair. Please, try it to see whether it suits you."[/blue] she directed, gesturing for him to pick up the wand to test it out.

Stephen watched the shopkeeper make her way over to a shelf and extract a box from it. As she did so, Stephen absentmindedly ran his fingers through his thin brown hair. Smiling as the shopkeeper opened the box and invited him to try it, Stephen reached his fingers into the box and removed the wand. A warmth crept across his fingers and up his arm almost at once.
Stephen raised the wand. The length felt perfect under his fingers; his hand didn't seem to be covering too much of the handle. Stephen wasn't quite sure what to do with the wand, so he just waved it without much thought at the nearby shelf of wands.
Immediately, the boxes flew off the shelves. Stephen jumped in alarm and cried hastily, "Sorry!" Stephen would have tried to fix the jumble of boxes on the floor, but he was none too skilled with a wand; he hardly even knew anything about magic. "I'll help you fix it," he muttered, embarrassed, as he scrambled forward to help.
As Stephen came forward, he put the wand back on the desk carefully. "I guess I won't be purchasing that one," he said with a grin.

D'rorah watched the calamity with the wand unfold. She blinked rapidly several times in confusion. It didn't make sense... only once before had she been unable to service a customer properly on the first attempt. She kept her face carefully neutral as the wand was placed back on the counter. [blue]"No, I suppose you will not be,"[/blue] she agreed.
She plucked the wand from the counter and placed it back within its box. As though she might have missed reading something on the parchment, she picked it up and read it once again. Seeing nothing new on the slip, she pursed her lips slightly. She moved forward as he stepped toward the boxes. [blue]"No, no, please, I have them in a very specific order,"[/blue] she replied. As she gathered up the boxes, she thought about another potential wand for her customer.
[blue]"There is one more I suppose I could try,"[/blue] she remarked thoughtfully as she shelved a box. Rising, she turned and made her way into the back room, selecting one box from among the myriads there. When she returned, she placed the new box on the counter. She gently prised the lid open. [blue]"This wand is also eleven and one-half inches hemlock with a core of unicorn hair; however, it is made slightly differently,"[/blue] she explained, revealing a wand that was worked with a loose spiral of five close lines carved down around the length of the wand, like a music staff lazily winding its way from handle to tip. [blue]"Perhaps this one will prove more suitable."[/blue]

Stephen stood back apologetically as the shopkeeper gathered together all the boxes. She looked surprised, probably because this wand had not worked for Stephen.
Taking the new wand, Stephen studied it closely. The elaborate designs, though simple, gave the wand an elegant look and feel. Raising it, Stephen felt a warmth creep up his arm, just as the previous wand had felt.
Stephen brought the wand swishing down and bright, gold sparks shot out of the end. Smiling broadly, Stephen turned to the shopkeeper. He didn't even need to ask her whether this was a good match for him. "How much will that cost?" Stephen asked, reaching inside his robes for his money.

D'rorah watched with some small amount of trepidation as Stephen took up the second wand. If this one didn't work... well, she'd certainly be terribly annoyed with herself. As he studied the wand, she waited silently, nodding to herself as he finally took it up. At the sight of the gold sparks shooting forth, she nodded more firmly.
She smiled slightly at the younger student as he smiled broadly at the reaction of the wand. With so much misery within her own group of comrades at Hogwarts, it was easy to forget that there was still Light in the world. [blue]"Actually,"[/blue] she replied, finding a small bag for the empty wand box, [blue]"All wands are currently courtesy of the establishment."[/blue]
She held the small bag out to him. [blue]"Was there anything else I might be able to assist you with?"[/blue] she asked politely, her grey eyes watching the young man before her.

Stephen smiled in appreciation as he heard that the wand was complimentary. Stuffing his money bag deep into his pocket again, he took the bag, which was very light. Stephen stood up and shook the shopkeeper's hand. "Thank you," he said, smiling.
Turning on his heel, Stephen made his way out of the shop and out into the crowded street.

D'rorah had been surprised when Stephen reached out to shake her hand and hoped hers weren't as cold they usually were these days. That icy touch was a sign she couldn't really hide from the world, just like her grey hair and washed-out skin. [blue]"You are welcome,"[/blue] she replied, watching as he headed out into the street.
As soon as he had left, she quickly finished straightening the boxes that had been upended before. That settled, she stepped back to survey her work before taking up her book once again and perching herself atop the stool she had placed just outside the door, resuming her reading while waiting to see if there would be any other customers that day.

Catalina smirked, as she pulled open the door to Olivanders. Ever since she had been a 1st year at Hogwarts. Her father had even reccomend she come here every year to purchase a perfect wand. Catalina hoped today she would find her perfect match. Shuffling her feet a little, Catalina pursued to the frount counter. She flipped her hair out of her hazel eyes, and quietly cleared her throat. "I'm here for a new wand." Catalina spoke loudly, just incase the shopkeepher did not hear her. As she tapped her heels on the ground, Catalina gripped the paper lightly in between her fingers before she released the paper with the information about her prefered wand onto the countertop.
Name: Catalina Mason Preferred Wand Length: 12 inches, or 13. Whichever works. About: (Defense Against the Dark Arts)

As D'rorah sat on her stool in front of the already open door to Ollivanders, she looked up at the approach of a younger witch. She rose from her seat and followed the girl to the front counter, blinking as Cataline spoke loudly to her. D'rorah wondered to herself whether the girl was hard of hearing or just rude.
"I'm here for a new wand."
[blue]"Yes. one might have thought that obvious once you entered a shop that sold only wands,"[/blue] she replied indifferently. The impatient tapping of the other girl's feet against the floor didn't garner any additional response, though D'rorah was thankful she wouldn't be relegated to such work for the sake of her livelihood.
D'roah was just about to reach for the slip of paper as it was released onto the countertop. She eyed the customer who wore entirely too much makeup in her opinion and spoke too loudly for a moment. [blue]"Well, Miss Mason, I am certain something... suitable can be found for you,"[/blue] she replied, half tempted to find something that would backfire for the sake of amusement. However, D'rorah was too disciplined to actually do such a thing.
She didn't touch the paper, instead leaving it where it had fluttered to the countertop. [blue]"Such detailed information..."[/blue] she replied acerbically. Turning to the shelf behind her, she selected a particular wand and set it on the counter before Catalina. [blue]"This wand is twelve inches bloodwood with a core of gytrash fur,"[/blue] she described as she set it out. D'rorah was accustomed to finding the perfect wand for each customer on her first attempt, and she expected this would be no different.

Izel looked at the crowed of people trying to see if the wand shop that her mother told her. Groaning in frustration she looked around again and saw a shop called Olivander's. Smiling she ran to the direction of the shop. She entered the shop and she saw some people picking their wands.
She reached for her pocket and pulled out a piece of yellow paper. She could feel a weird sensation on her nose. "Dust particles" she thought as she tried to stop herself from sneezing.
"Achoooooo!!!!!!"
she covered her nose with her hands and wiped her nose. She didn't realize that she was wiping it with the paper that contained the information's for her to get a wand. She looked at the paper that was now covered of the goo. "Ugh! Disgusting"
How was she suppose to buy a wand now that the paper is covered of disgusting goo. Something caught her eyes on the floor. A parchment was lying there. She picked it up and saw that there was nothing written on it. Now what she need to find is a quill. She looked around and saw a quill and ink at the counter. "Lucky me!!"
She copied the notes that was on the paper with goo.
Name: Izel Victoria Phoenix Preferred Wand Length: a range between 12 1/2 to 14 inches About: I need a wand that would be best to use on Defense against the Dark arts and charms. I need a wand that is flexible for I am a user that moves a lot. I also need the wand to be versatile to help me on my other classes. And I need a wand that would work on different environment and weather. I want also the wand that I can easily conceal on my sleeves for personal protection.
After writing everything and reviewing it she looked headed to the clerk and handed the paper to her smiling.

D'rorah looked up as she heard the sound of a rather large sneeze as her current customer left with his new wand. She looked around. The place was as spotless as ever... she had gone to great lengths to clean, organize, and catalog as soon as she had taken over as the clerk. After all, she hardly wanted to work in a filthy, cluttered environment. But she supposed it might have been a while since she had bothered with a dusting charm. Her research and her customers had seemed more pressing matters whenever she had opened the shop.
She averted her eyes as the girl fished a piece of paper from her pocket to wipe her nose. It looked a bit too stiff to be proper tissue... it looked rather like a piece of writing paper to her. She sincerely hoped she wasn't about to be handed that paper...
Luckily, it seemed the customer had spotted the supplies available for writing out wand information on the counter. Giving her time to finish writing up her information on a clean square of parchment, D'rorah busied herself with a quick dusting charm to clean away any unseen dust particles that might be lingering in her obsessively clean store.
She returned the girl's smile with a polite one of her own as she accepted the piece of parchment. She looked over it briefly, her grey eyes flitting over the words precisely and quickly. [blue]"I believe I have something suitable for you, Miss Phoenix,"[/blue] she remarked before dipping below the counter and returning a moment later with a red box. [blue]"This wand is twelve and three-quarters inches oak with a core of unicorn tail hair,"[/blue] she explained as she prised the lid from the box. [blue]"Please, try it to make sure that it suits you."[/blue] D'rorah had been doing this long enough now that she could pick the wand on the first try for her customers. She waited again to see that she had chosen well this time too.

Izel picked up the wand and looked at its features. The wand looks good enough for her. Not wasting any more time she waved the wand to the vase near by.
"Wingardium Leviosa " she chanted as she tried to Levitate the vase.
She didn't expect what happened next, instead of levitating the vase turned into ash. Looking at the wand she looked back at the clerk nervously.
"Sorry about the vase." she said as she put the wand back down. It was a good one but well the wand sure don't like her.
