Caira knew she had to be careful. She mustn't be too pushy or she'd lose everything she'd built with this Slytherin. And perhaps eventually he could be won over. Such things were bound to take time...
"Fair enough Zee," she agreed, never losing her warm smile. "She put a hand lightly on his shoulder as her pacing brought her to stand behind him. "You'll think about it though, won't you? I think that one day soon you'll be ready to give up the limited education you can find here. There's so much power we can offer you in the darkness," she trailed off as she shifted slightly closer to him. "I can almost feel how you crave it, how you wish to feel that rush in your veins."
She stepped back a bit and came around to face him again. "Take some time to think about it. I think you'll find that, in the end, it's the option which suits you best." Her smile shifted to a smirk. "And perhaps, if you come back soon, I can tell you more about an ability I think you already possess... whether you know it or not. You might want to spend some time trying to research Elemental Magic in the library... Metal, I think." Knowing he would find nearly nothing in the Hogwarts library, she added another hint. "Actually, I think you'd be most intrigued about D'rorah Philosophy's notes. And maybe, once you get them and read what you'd like, you could let me take a peek?"
Stepping further back, she winked at him, then turned and sauntered back to her desk. "My door's always open."

As she came up behind him and laid a hand on his shoulder, Zee's jaw clenched tightly. He willed himself to not simply collapse under the inexplicable tension he felt. Whether it was the power she held or the power she offered, she had Zee hanging on her every word. And whether it was his hatred of not feeling in control or that he simply didn't like how right he believed her to be when she told him that the darkness suited him, he had the urge to flee from her as she smiled at him.
The lure of the darkness surely called to him, but it also utterly repulsed him. With a hard swallow he painted his own typical grin back in place and nodded at her advice and request, though he had no idea what she was saying. He was no Elemental Master. And if he were, then wouldn't the Mage, and thus Caira, want him dead? She must be trying to further confuse him. He was interested in acquiring D'rorah's notes on the matter though, regardless of whether he'd eventually turn them over to her or not.
His grin widened at her wink and after she turned away he returned it, perhaps only for the satisfaction of doing something she was unaware of.
"I will of course keep that in mind Caira. Thank you for your time. I'll no doubt return when I need a reminder of what beauty darkness holds. And perhaps I'll have something for you. Until then, good evening."
With a little salute Zee took two steps back before turning on his heel and slipping through the door. He continued walking away, gradually quickening his pace until he was in a full out run. Though he wasn't sure what he was running from, he felt certain he couldn't escape it.
