After Evelyn Sparrow had introduced herself, she proceeded in listing off the various places that students go. He grew a touch uncomfortable as he realized that the places she listed off could be considered places that couples went for romantic purposes.
"Ah, well, a popular place for the students to gather about for meetings of the sort is Madam Puddifoots. Such a cozy little place, a great environment for getting to know things. However, The Three Broomsticks is a bit more adult friendly, and they can provide privet rooms to discuss important matters. Although if you wish to stay on school grounds, the gardens are actually lovely during the winter season, and they've even placed benches through out it. And if you're looking for a more private location, the elf kitchens actually are a great place to meet together for a bite to eat, I've seen my fair share of students meeting there at all hours of the night to quell their hunger."
She had moved over toward the counter where she began to operate a device that Gavril hadn't seen before, and said something about coffee. A most wondrous aroma began to fill the air and Gavril took in a deep breath, noting that the scent was vanilla and cinnamon.
Suddenly, Alex abruptly spoke up and announced that he was leaving, without so much as a goodbye or a suggestion to continue their attempt at dinner plans much later. Gavril tilted his head and looked at the Professor of Dark Arts in desperate confusion as he wanted to see where all of their talk was heading. Unfortunately, Gavril guessed that the unexpected entrance of Professor Sparrow had totally disturbed Alex's comfort levels and he hastily made his exit.
Looking slightly dejected, he frowned a bit, but then looked back to Evelyn.
"Yes, I'll join you...it smells quite good." He said, having a seat at the table where the rest of his papers and other class-related materials. He flicked through his papers and remembered the reason he had come to the staff lounge before he had gotten swept away within the meetings of a new friend...or potentially more.
