Mordred stepped out of the way as Kono exited the room. He was about to talk to Dee when she turned to him and began scrutinizing him for telling Kono that she was a Warrior. After she had finished her rant he began to speak. "Well I'm terribly sorry, I was so frustrated with his inability to listen to what we were saying that I let it slip. And from the way you fought out there, I'll be surprised if he and the rest of the students didn't know about it already."
He turned to face the door and walked to it a little more. "I'm going to enforce a few new rules for the safety of the students. If we want to find the remaining masters and warriors, we can't let anyone die..." Mordred opened the door and exited quickly.

D'rorah heard the door open. "But Prof..." she trailed off as she realized he had already left. In the empty room, she swore aloud, irritated. She started to go after, figuring he had asked to speak with her afterwards because he wished to have her help in something to do with establishing the new rules. "Very well," she said quietly, to no one in particular. "I suppose I shall simply remain here then." Feeling an overwhelming sensation of frustration and anger, she sat on the floor in a corner. As long as no one was around, she could let her guard down just a bit. With that thought, she pulled her knees to her chin, hugging them tightly as she buried her face in her arms. Everything that was happening brought back the memory of her parents' deaths... the men, shadows, who had attacked her as well. In an uncharacteristic moment of weakness, a silent tear slipped from the corner of her eye, leaving a trail down her cheek.

Professor Dien Serlaen made the requisite three passes by the door, saying hello to Professor Kade. He opened the door and walked into the practice room. Dee was slumped up in a corner of the room. He set his papers down and made a metal stool appear out of the floor. He sat down on it, and looked at Dee. She'd been crying, and stopped when he had come in. "D'rorah Philosophy, what's wrong today?" he said, in a concerned voice rather than sarcastic. "What did Mordred do now?"

"Oh, it is not him," she replied. "And I am perfectly alright." She released her knees and lifted her head, looking him straight in the eye. Her posture was suddenly tense, upright where she had previously been curled up. She did not need comforting. She could deal with her own internal demons. After all, she had spent the past months fighting things others only had nightmares about. It was almost laughable. Some great Shadow Warrior, she thought to herself, afraid to even allow anyone to know what I am.
"I should apologize," she said out loud. "Yes, certainly..." she said the words absently.
She blinked a couple of times and looked up at Dien again. "So Professor Serlaen. Is there something I might assist you with? Have you had any success in finding your Shadow Warrior or securing your Orb?"
