“I certainly don’t want to do it, Alessandro. All of the students here have so much to learn. But I can’t keep students here when it isn’t safe either.” She stood from her chair and paced a bit. This meeting wasn’t quite going as she expected. Obviously D’rorah had a stranglehold on the members of her group. None of them ever said much… and what they did say was usually only the bare minimum of unimportant information. D’rorah herself had nearly flatly refused to offer any information whatsoever regarding her research or the activities of her group. She needed to break this wall of silence, but didn’t know how to go about having the members trust her. She didn’t know the identities of all of the lightfighters, only a select few. But surely by now they would have all been found.
She stopped and straightened again. “Well, your warning is heard, Alessandro,” she replied with a sad smile. “Rest assured, I’m doing everything I can to find these Shadow Warriors and enlist their help. Perhaps you could help by being my eyes and ears, by letting me know when things happen. Communication in this school isn’t really as good as it should be… I’m trying to work on that, but I could certainly use all the help I can get.”

"Forgive me for any insolence, Miss LaPointe, but, if the lightfighters refuse to reveal their identities...." He swallowed. "Then perhaps they do not wish to be found...." He said slowly looking up at her. "If they really are the chosen ones to fight against the darkness...I'm sure they are working diligently on honing their abilities to do so." He said trying to sound somewhat assuring.
His ears perked up as she asked him to be her eyes and ears in the school, as she mentioned that communications had been a weak point of the school. He felt that could be likened to spying, and he didn't know how comfortable he would be reporting to her like a sneaky snake, a Slytherin would be more adequate for such a job. "I shall keep my ears and eyes...and mind... open to any misdeeds going on within Hogwarts...If anything new turns over with these treasonous followers of the mage, I shall let you know." He said bowing his head slightly. He would be no snitch, but if it were important as discovering the identities of the followers of the mage, he would report to her. His thoughts drifted to the vacant Divinations position and he decided to query the subject.
He stood up as he felt she may be ready for him to leave, he straightened his robes and then looked back at her. "Before I go, Caira, I was wondering if there have been any applicants for the Divinations position. I find it sadly ironic that a class specialized for predicting the future would be out of comission in our dire time. I think we could all use a bit of foresight." He said with a pleading look on his face. He was eager to return to Divinations class as he felt it may help him hone his abilities.
"Please do find a replacement Ms. LaPointe..." He said forgetting to call her Caira. "I believe that it would help me further the development of controling these premonitions. ..and, I think that may help you out if I were to be able to get a stronger handle on them, maybe summon them at will, perhaps." He said shrugging.

Caira shook her head. “No, there’s haven’t been any applicants yet for the position. Hopefully soon someone will apply. I have the Ministry looking as well. When Phoenix left, it was very sudden. I’m not even really sure why.” She shrugged a bit. “All he would say is that it was a family emergency.” She stood and began making her way to the door. “Thank you for coming to talk to me today, Alessandro. Please, remember that my door’s always open.” She smiled a bit. “And, it’s Caira,” she added pleasantly.
He would certainly expect her to be concerned, and that was mirrored in her eyes, but it was the subdued concern of someone who knew that she was doing all she could at the moment. Knowing he had been part of the group that had gone into the forest that day, and having seen him in D’rorah’s memories as she was being tortured, she was fairly certain he was one of the lightfighters. All she needed to do now was substantiate that and find the remaining members so she could begin her own campaign at Hogwarts.

Feeling a little off about the entire meeting, he made his way to the exit. He wondered if the headmistress actually took him seriously or if she was just humoring him. She seemed really keen on finding out information on the Lightfighters, a fact that made him a little bit uncomfortable as if she was trying to hint that she knew he was part of the group, as he sat before her. He shrugged it off and any other emotion that had accompanied the meeting with the headmistress. He figured she was a busy woman and would do what she could do to ensure the safety of the student body.
He felt somewhat more dejected as she informed him that there have been no new applicants for the divinations spot. He really wished that someone would take up the extra responsibility. He knew very well that Divinations was a rather flimsy class that many disregarded as practical magic. Being able to divine the outcome had its advantages, especially if you had your own private divining tool inside your head, showing you glimpses of whats yet to come at random, and in very creative ways.
He let out a sigh and turned to face Caira. "Well, I do thank you for setting aside time out of your busy day to indulge me, Mistress...Caira...." He corrected. He smiled briefly and then began to turn and walk past the threshold. "You have a pleasant evening, then." He waved to her and walked out into the corridor.
His cordial expression shifted quickly to that of concern and frustration as he ran a hand through his hair, strands of which flopped back into place as his hand passed through the thick locks.
