Caitlin stumbled slightly under the added weight of Susan as the Gryffindor took her offered hand and used it to pull hersef up, but managed to stay on her feet and not fall over again. She really should have learnt by now that she didn't have the strength to help others return to their feet.
Waiting behind Susan, she checked her own books out. She had slightly less than her friend, only five, but knew that with all the schoolwork she was doing she would not have time to read any more before she had to return them. Although she was well ahead in certain areas of magic, in others she was drastically behind and needed to take advantage of every free moment she had.
"I'll catch you later," Susan said as they reached the library exit.
"Yeah, see you around," Caity called back, tucking all the books that would fit into her bag but being forced to carry two of them. She set off for the Hufflepuff common room, contemplating everything she had learnt today. She had been right about certain things, but had not realised how serious the situation was if students were needed to fight. She was fairly sure now that Keaira and Alessandro were part of that "club", judging by their actions in the forest. The one thing most on her mind was why couldn't adults do that magic just as well?
