Breathing deep and slow as he gradually recovered the energy he had expended in so carefully controlling his element. He had felt amazingly peaceful as he moved the metal, listening to its song, feeling almost as one with the element. The peace was not from apathy or disinterest, but simple acceptance. He had felt the longevity of the elements as he had felt bathed in its light. Even if he failed to save Alessandro, another would rise in the boy's place. The light would not allow the dark to overwhelm it so easily. And even should the dark gain dominance, it would not last. The dark was nothing if not ultimately self destructive.
Coming back to the present, that pragmatism that motivated many of Zee's actions came back to him, and he was glad they would not have to wait for Alessandro's replacement, if only for the sake of both their Shadow Warrios. As Zee's eyes eased open he saw Keaira kneeling next to Alessandro, arms wrapped tightly around him. Indeed Zee was not offended. He was well aware of Keaira's preference. She was hardly the only lightfighter who would sooner rush to the side of nearly any other rather than his own. It did however remind him of what he'd lost when Wysteria had supposedly died, and his mood fell back into his now typical melancholy.
Zee's face had become the mask of no emotion that was also becoming typical, and his only reaction to Keaira's suggestion that they either use a house elf to apparate out or head to her family's estate was to shrug a little dejectedly. The motion however sent a dull ache through his neck and through his right arm where it had been slashed. Perhaps some healing wouldn't be such a bad idea, and given the allegiance of the headmistress, it would prove wise to accomplish said healing before their return to the school. He sent the simple thought to Keaira.
"Your family."
It was perhaps petty and childish for Zee to not make Alessandro privy to his opinion on the matter, but Zee's mood had plummeted rather drastically and he didn't so much care how his actions at that point were interpreted.

He lay there, being held by this girl that had just saved his life. The pain that was transmitting from his legs to his brain was overwhelming, but not as overwhelming as his appreciation for being alive. She had buried her face into his shoulder and he, in a very confused manner, wrapped his arms around her in return. He didn't care what was going on at the moment or what he didn't understand. All he knew at the moment was that he owed his life to her.
"Yes, it's over Alessandro, we'll be safe now. I've missed you so much. I was so worried we wouldn't get here in time, or that something would go wrong. Let's get out of here... I have too many bad memories of this place already."
He had no clue who she was. No clue. Why had she missed him so? Was she a friend? Acquaintance? Perhaps his girlfriend? He did not have the answers and as she pulled away from him, he looked at her tear streaked face, searching it for answers. She brought herself up and away from him, and he tried to stand, but found that he had exhausted all of his energy to withstand pain, and slumped back down to the ground, groaning in frustration and pain.
"The best I can think of is to borrow Gat's idea of an escape plan and call a house elf. Unless you guys want to walk to my parents estate. It's not that far from here, and I'm positive they can arrange healing, and a trip back to school for us all. James at least understands what's going on here to an extent."
His mind began to reel as he let himself drift into a relaxed state. He wanted so much to just die right now, and rest forever. No, Sleep would be better, he needed sleep. He just wanted to forget this night, and add it to the lengthy list of things forgotten.
He buried his face in his hands, and completely lost control.

((Alright boys, lets wrap this up nicely eh? if theres something you want changed let me know))
Alright then. It was settled, or at least, she had decided that having one full response was good enough. It was late, and they were all tired. And yet, they would have to travel approximately a mile and a half to get to her parents. That however, was the best route she could think of. After all, they could each sleep in warm soft beds, be healed up, fed, and then sent back to Hogwarts, without too much of an issue. Her parents might ask a question or, two, if they were even there, but for the most part it would be smooth sailing. Or at least smooth compared to the thought of traveling back through the rift in to the shadow realm, through the torture chamber, and out the other rift.
Yes, this would have to be the way to do it. Her potions were nearly exhausted, and what she had left wouldn't help them too much. There was a one rejuvenation, one cheering potion, and one more exploding, the other 7 that were in the kit, were already expended. At least they had one more offense, if needed, and the three of them could split the remaining two three ways. It wouldn't be a lot but it would give them the small boost that they would need to travel the final distance. Two ounces wasn't a lot when split three ways, but it would have to do. Pulling the vials out of her bag, she held them in front of her.
"Well boys this is the last of it, we should each take a little, so that we don't pass out during the walk to my parents. We can cut through the woods, I know the path pretty well. But its still a decent amount away. At a slow pace it shouldn't take us more than an hour to get there, and then we can all just go to sleep."
After each boy had been offered a bit to get them going Keaira took the last of each potion. About 2/3 of an ounce for each of them was all they got, give or take a little, but it was enough for Keaira to feel slightly energized, and a bit more relaxed. After summoning her bow and quiver, she made sure that her potions were stored carefully in her bag, along with everything else, and then moved to help Alessandro up.
Keaira allowed both boys to lean on her, or at least offered it. She was after all, the least injured of the three of them. With Alessandro on her right, and Zane on her left, they started for her parents estate. Not much was said as the three of them tiredly made their way through the trees, as Keaira had said she knew the path well, and only had to adjust her path once during the walk. After quite some time, they emerged from the wooded area, and found themselves looking across a giant field, with a white two story house. Three windows adorned the top floor, and two full length double windows adorned the bottom. As she had planned they had come up on the side of the house. Off a bit to the left there was another small building, well, small in comparison, she knew it was where James stayed most of the time. It was after all a three bedroom cottage, with attached stable. Not wishing to wake any one else aside from James with how late it had gotten, Keaira steered them toward the cottage, she had not brought a key with her, as she had not intended on being here, so it was to James' she would go.
The exhaustion was quite clear on the three of them as they approached the door to the cottage, allowing the boys a full view of her parents estate. The back of the house had nine windows on each floor. The window in the center of the other eight was actually not so much of a window as a set of French doors, that opened up to a patio on the lower floor, and a balcony on the upper. Not bothering to glance at the house, she headed for the main entrance to the cottage. Knocking on the door she waited for her tutor to wake up and answer the door. It didn't take long for the man with his light brown hair and green-blue eyes to answer the door. He looked like he was in his mid 20's, although Keaira knew that there was another decade of time added to that to make his age. His short hair was completely disheveled, and he was wearing dark blue cotton pajama's decorated with images of a cartoon white beagle dog flying a red airplane. At first he looked a bit angry at being awoken at such a late hour in the night, but after a few seconds of staring and blinking,he seemed to get over the anger, and instead clearly wore an expression of shock.
"Hey James, been studying while I've been gone?"
"K-Keaira? What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at school?" He paused for a moment, as he realized that Keaira was not alone, and her companions seemed to be a bit worse for wear. "Oh, get in here, before you all pass out. What happened? How- Who-... Never mind, I'm not sure I want to hear the story just yet. You poor must be frozen. Your parents aren't here, they went on holiday, only me and your sis around now. Although she is sleeping now, like you ought to be. Here."
James had led them in to the small cottage, to a room with a few chairs, and a couch. A fireplace was the center of the room, the flames danced about, and let off a warm glow that surrounded them. After he had allowed the three of them to sit down, he conjured four coffee mugs, and a tea pot looking like thing. Pouring from the pot, was not so surprisingly for Keaira, hot cocoa. After offering each of them a glass, he turned to look at them fully for the first time since their arrival. The three of them looked horrid. Clothing torn, blood, and dirt covered their exposed area's of skin. Although Keaira looked the best out of the three of them, he could tell that there was quite a story behind this.
"I'm not going to ask how you are all wounded, or why you're not at school. But at least give me the courtesy of telling me something." James was not dumb, and he of all the people in her family had been the one she had chosen to trust with the knowledge of her training in China, and as such, he was the only one who knew of the shadow wars in any fashion. Even if it was a shortened version.
Keaira looked at her tutor and friend, her eyes never lying when she spoke to him. "It's the same as the last time I came to you for help. Only last time I was preparing for something like this, not actually participating." James nodded, and accepted to knowledge. Now he needed to address their injuries. Starting with Zane he looked over each wound, noting that some of the smaller ones looked a bit healed he smiled. Keaira at least was using some of her schooling. After several minuets of murmuring healing charms, most of Zane's wounds had closed up, although they were not perfect. Some of them, were inflicted with dark magic, and they would take much longer to heal. For now though it would do.
Moving on to Alessandro, he did the same thing, healing what he could, and offering to bandage what he couldn't. Keaira was the least injured of them all. She had broken a rib, but it was something that she hadn't even noticed. It must have happened when the ropes bound her body.
With many of their wounds healed, and the ones that couldn't be healed bound and dressed, James informed them that they should sleep. Offering each boy a set of pajama, he gave them their options for sleeping. Keaira decided that the three of them would sleep in three of the down stairs guest rooms, in her parents house. With key in hand, Keaira led the boy off to the side entrance of the house. The door opened up to a siting room, after cutting through the room, they entered a hall way that had several doors in it. Showing each of the boys to a room, she bid them good night, and entered the next room. each bedroom, was adorned with a queen size four post bed, and matching furniture. They would leave at 8 am to return to the school, after they had eaten some food. For tonight they could sleep soundly, knowing that the Mage, nor her minions would attack them here.
