Spade almost cast the killing curse. "Dumb child! Afraid? Afraid of what?! I'm one of Mage's first followers, are you kidding me? It was an act D'rorah! I've been with her since I was at Hogwarts!" He looked at the Mage. "Those kids laughed at me, they always said Spade would be nothing then she came and showed me how to become more powerful. I knew from birth i was an elemental master but something about being here unleashed those hidden powers."
He began teaching Gat how to properly torture the girl. Going through every curse he knew but it seemed Gat was very intelligent already when it came to that topic. He roared with laughter. He thought about something for a second. He could sense the presence of others. Then after he finished his thought he concluded. "Gat when were done be sure of one thing. Serlaen and Kade are mine! The rest are for you to play with."
He knew that Mage's way of torture might have been more effective but Spade was a sucker for the classics. He held his wand, close to D'rorah and roared "CRUCIO!"
He knew there was no chance of him leaving her by herself with the possibilty of her connecting with her elemental friends planning a way to escape. If it hadn't been for Mage's request he would have ended her in her weakest state.

D'rorah pulse quickened. As she writhed under the torture of another cruciatus, her mind raced. She would not allow harm to come to the others. Her mind began frantically searching for a way out... should she shadow meld? She could feel the corruption seeping through her body... would she be strong enough to shift back to her human form if she did so? Or would she simply speed her descent into darkness? She had thought she could simply hold out, but now she realized that remaining would only end in her eventual corruption. She took a deep breath and melded to shadow form, the wrists and ankles that had been bound and shackled suddenly becoming insubstantial and free.
Moving with the speed and form of a shadow, she ignored her pain and made her way to the window. Without sparing a glance behind her, she flew from the window and down to the grounds... she had to find a rift quickly... had to find Mordred to pull her emotions back so that hopefully he could stay her corruption.

"IMBECILES!" shouted Dark Phoenix. "Find her! Do not let her reach a rift!"
She knew D'rorah's corruption was close to complete... with any luck, the Shadow Melding would just finish it off. But she couldn't take the chance of her escaping, not when she was so close already.

(ooc: What happens when she does 'Shadow Melding', I'm confused. Is she invisible or something, or can she pass through anything. Can she be hit by spells, like stupify???)

When she shadow melds, she becomes exactly like a shadow in form, so she can pass through things. Regular spells will have no affect on her. She's not really invisible, but she's hard to see because, basically, she's a shadow.

D'rorah fumbled as she lept from the window of the Mage's fortress. She was still melded to Shadow Form, looking exactly like a shadow herself. Suddenly, she felt a presence call out to her. Her mind raced for a moment to place the voice, as she did, a small rift opened before her. She held out hope that it was not a trick and plunged through. Already, she had taxed her limited mental energy beyond its capacity.
As she passed through the rift, she used her last ounce of willpower to pull herself from the ecstasy of melding to shadow form, back to her human form. She crashed through with a loud thud, landing on the stone floor of the room of requirement. Her hair, usually neatly pinned in a tight coif, hung in a disheveled tangle down her back. Her robes were tattered and blood soaked, hanging off a body covered with wounds, scars, and burns. Even hitting the ground was agonizing and she moaned weakly as her body slammed against the floor.
Her eyes fluttered open briefly, revealing them to be cold and dark. She needed to be pulled back immediately; she had spent far too long in darkness, in agony that seemed as though it would never end. "Sp..." she trailed off as her eyes fell shut and she lay limp on the floor.
(ooc: I'm out... I've moved into the Room of Requirement... hehehe... nany nany boo boo)

She turned to a shadow and was gone, he did not know what to do as he had not encountered this before. Gat threw the dagger on the ground. If nobody knew that he was in league with the shadow mage before, they would surely now. 'Here we go again.' Gat thought to himself as he waited for pain to come. He would surely be punished for this, even though he had no idea how to stop it. He was still tingling from the pain inflicted last time. He was just about to use the veritaserum when she left.

"damn!" Phoenix's voice rang throughout the realm as she felt a rift open near the grounds and close. Her eyes blazed with fury. She looked to the wraiths. "Find Jared and Gat! Bring them to my study immediately!"
She stormed off and waited until the two had been brought before her. She paced angrily before the two, darkness swirling around her thickly as she fumed. "I want her found! I want her corruption finished!"
She stopped in her tracks directly before them and glared at them both. "She will be weak. Her wounds will not heal quickly because of the blade. That one has the knowledge! She has done the research! Bring her! Bring her notes! With her knowledge, I can defeat the others easily. We must pave the way for my master to come and we must do it quickly!" She lowered her voice, her eyes narrowing to vicious slits. "I don't need to tell you both what happens to those who fail me..." she growled. "NOW GO!"

Gat stumbled in the rift again with failure upon his face. He thought about how D'rorah had looked at him. He remembered that D'rorah had looked at him as if he was a friend. Even after he had betrayed her. 'Did she know about it? Why did she look surprised?' Did something happen to her memory?' He thought to himself. He came to the Shadow Mage.
"Master, I have failed and D'rorah has left Hogwarts." He confessed.
"It also appears that her memory has been changed." He started to tell the shadow mage what he had learned.
"Should I gather the dragons again for you like my ancestors, to follow you?"He asked. His ancestors were the dragon masters and could command the dragons. They had always followed the Shadow Mage.

Displeasure radiated from the Mage like heat. "Her memory has been modified," she said darkly. "Everything was taken care of... she was exactly where we wanted her. Then you ruined everything! Now no one can find the Warrior of Wind! Caira has questioned everyone, sent shadows all over the globe to search for her! And she's nowhere to be found!."
She started toward Gat, intent on torturing him. Her eyes burning was dark anger. She stopped in her tracks. "Return to Hogwart's, I will call for you later. You will help the headmistress in any way she deems necessary, is that clear? You are far more useful on the inside than in hiding. Don't worry, she has taken care of the memories... D'rorah no longer remembers being tortured by you or Jared. Now go."
With that, she turned and strode from the room, her cloak swirling about her legs like an angry sea.

Gat screamed in his head. How was Gat supposed to know that her memory had been modified. The shadow mage ordered him to get her back. He didn't show how uncomfortable he was then the shadow mage started to speak again.

Gat watched her leave. 'Was it this stressful for my mother and my ancestors before her?' He thought to himself. He left immediately without looking back. He ran through the forest and into the castle. 'I cannot believe that the shadow mage would do that to me. It was foolish enough to show D'rorah that I was there. Now Keaira and the divination Professor (who's name escapes me) know about me. Theres no hiding that.'
