Smiling, Dylan dusted himself off, despite there being no real reason. Some of his energy wanting to expend itself, perhaps. His body warming slightly now that it was inside the castle, he shook his head, the only remaining wet part of him spraying water around. Raising his head and grinning, he felt suddenly ravenous. He was glad, therefore, that dinner was approaching.
Responding to Susan's comments, his mouth uttered a happy "me too." Laughing, he wondered at the fact that the weather had been exceptionally good lately and only seemed to draw up this sudden explosion of elements.
His stomach getting angry at the amount of energy spent and the lack of food to provide said energy, he glanced longingly up towards the Great Hall. Though he had a lot of pent up energy, his stomach ruled his mind. "Well... I'm gonna grab some dinner," he said, still slightly breathless. "Care to join me?" he finished, smiling.

Susan felt her own stomach rumble at Dylan's mention of dinner. Although there was no way to tell the exact time, it seemed about dinner time. The number of students circulating seemed to cumulate, in addition to Susan and Dylan's grumbling stomachs. Eager to get her feet moving again, Susan agreed to follow Dylan to the Great Hall where dinner would be served.
She worried just for a moment about where they would sit. Usually students sat at tables designated for their houses. It had never been any other way. Then again, students usually made friends within their own houses, too. Susan figured that she and Dylan were the exception and that one of them would have to break the unspoken taboo.
Excited at the aspect of good sqare meal, Susan looked forward to her unexpected dinner companion, a Ravenclaw. Who would have thought? "I'm starving," Susan replied to Dylan's initial question, "I'd love to join you."
