As per usual when she was irritable or slightly excited about soon-to-be events, Phoenix’s fingers tapped against the chair in which she was seated. The hard wood beneath her, chosen purposefully so that she would keep her back upright, formed an armchair of sorts; one that vaguely resembled her throne back in the Shadow Realm. True, it lacked the particularly ominous horned hood, as well as the delicate intricacy of carving, but it would suffice for her purposes of the moment.
While the chair itself was decidedly plain and unobtrusive; the woman seated on it was far from any adjective even remotely resembling those. She had sent her servants out about half an hour ago with the task of bringing back those interested in allying with her and her side. With Mordred and several other of her wizarding servants being lost to the lightfighters or due to unforeseen circumstances, she knew it would be prudent to collect allies as soon as possible; before the Masters and Warriors of light could catch on and prevent such a thing. Hopefully, though, they would be focusing or at least affording quite a bit of attention toward the Master of Fire and Warrior of Air; both of whom were less than up-to-scratch, from the reports she had received.
Skeptical to see how many would show up for this little meeting, she waited with an air about her that could hardly be labelled as patience. How long could it take? Perhaps they had encountered problems of some sort… She must be prepared in case one of those stupid lightfighters attempted to trace her shadows back to her current location. She had already organised a set of booby-traps around this room, hidden every which way. The room itself was plain; ordinary, if you will; stone and brick, and a few luscious carpets covering the cold stone floor. Several seats were set before her, about twenty in total, and as difficult as it might be to believe, despite several doors upon the walls, the room was completely isolated and detached from anything else. In fact, if you attempted to walk out any given door, you’d only enter through another door in the room. The only way in was through her shadows, who she had brought here to begin with. No-one could imagine this place and apparate within; not only did she have no previous ties with the place for anyone too nosy for their own good to guess, but she had created this room specifically for the day, and would destroy it after her uses for it had expired.
