This is in reply to more than a few instances where more than a few people have described another character as wearing or being different than how the character being described, described themselves.
People take the time to describe their characters; they put thought and effort into putting forth an image that they want the other character to see. It's frustrating, from my own experience, to have someone describe my characters as different than how I explicitly described them in my posts.
Though, I noticed, the largest issue is whether or not students are in their house robes. It is an oddity but there are a good portion of students at Hogwarts that are not actually in their house robes. They tend to wear the colors of the house so that it is still quite obvious but they do not wear the over-robes. Checking a profile is also a good way to see what they would most likely be wearing if there is no description; that is one of the purposes of the profile anyhow.
It would be appreciated if everyone, while reading another person's post, would take a mental note of their outfit and what they are wearing. So that either, you can, in your post comment about their outfit or at least not describe them as something other than how they specifically said they looked.
Of course, interpretation is not at all the subject here. What is green is green but what is ruffled may be a mess.

That would be me that made the mistake. My apologies. I don't mean to come off disrespectful; it was an honest mistake. I admit, sometimes I am not always the most attentive of the details of other people's posts when I am tired, so I am sorry about that. I will work on it.
I suppose that since I attended a school that required uniforms, I subconsciously always assume that others are in their proper attire, since that was so mandatory where I learned my academics, even when I am reading that they are not. Such information goes to the back of my head and out another direction. I will try to be more careful so I don't offend individuals.

Thanks (though that instance is not technically mine to give), I appreciate the effort and understand your reasoning. Don't worry though, you're not the only one. You just happened to be the ripple that overflowed the cup.
