Alessandro quickly made his way through the common room and up the stairs to the boys dormitories. He got to his bed and flung himself on it. So much information in a short period of time. It had gone from dementors to elemental masters in a split second. He didn't understand what exactly was going on with him, nor did he understand fully that he was the master of the fire element, something that he had been raised to be terrified of. Did they know? Did my mum and dad know that I would be the fire elemental? Maybe thats why they modified my memories.... These thoughts cascaded through his brain like a waterfall.
He took in a deep breath smelling the odor of old quilts and stone. He loved that smell. Hogwarts was his second home and he felt safe there. He did until the talk of dementors and elementals surfaced. He rolled over and looked at the ceiling and began to count the cracks and crevasses endlessly. His mind was mush, he couldn't think about the news D'rorah had sprung on him. It was all he could do to put it out of his mind. He stood up and went to the window and looked out.
Was that Wysteria he just saw crossing the grounds making her way over toward the lake? He thought of calling out to her, and then possibly waking all of Hogwarts as his voice ricocheted off of every slab of stone in the castle, but then stopped as he saw something fly overhead and into the forest.
This was it, he had to see what was going on. His friend was down there by herself, and if that thing that had just flown into the woods agitated the dementors, he feared she would be completely stripped of all life as she knew it if they got to her.
He threw on his Ravenclaw robe over his muggle pajamas, a HollisterCo. T-shirt and flame pajama bottoms, and then tore down the stairs.
