Gat walked through the main door to the Ball Room. On his face was a mask of white ice . It covered his newly acquired scar on his left cheek he had acquired while on a mission for the shadow mage. He had accomplished his mission but only barely. He was also wearing long black dress robes that went down to his ankles. He peered around the ball room. It was already pretty much full. 'How am I going to find Ariana now?' Gat thought. He could not see her anywhere. 'Maybe shes not coming.' He thought. He turned around to head for the door once again when.....
(ooc: Cue anyone who wants to join. Most appreciatively Ariana.)

Ariana calmly walked down to the ball room where the Halloween dance was being held. She had on a elegant masquerade dress that was made of beige satin. It was Spaghetti strap, while its neckline was outlined with a light gold floral design. On it left side was a lovely corset tie that reveals a floral imprint and floor length with a layer of crinoline for extra shape. Her hair was pulled back into a half bun while the rest of it was down slightly curled near the bottom. On her face was a sliver mask with spiral design on both sides that was held on by a black satin ribbon. Her mothers sliver locket lay around her neck and her finger nails were painted a light baby blue that where French tip style. Around her ankle was a simple white silver chain. Around her left wrist was a pink sapphire and champagne diamond snake bangle that was rose gold in color. Given as a birthday gift from her beloved uncial Akira. Ariana slowly slipped into the masquerade ball before looking around. It seemed to her at lest no one notices her which brought a small smile to her face. She slipped into the shadows calmly to walk to a table before sitting down. Her sliver high hills clicked as she walked the entire time.

Gat was on his way out when he took one last look behind him. What he saw was so amazing, it nearly gave him a heart attack. It was unmistakable. It was Ariana and she was so beautiful. Gat had never seen her dressed anything like that before. He slowly made his way over to the table she was sitting at. His mask was not cold as it was charmed. He sat down beside her.
"You....look....beautiful..." He said still gaping at her. He felt like taking off the mask so he could see her properly, though he did not want her to see his scar. He was ashamed of that scar. He was ashamed of being so foolish as to acquire the scar. Gat extended his hand and on it was a near perfect carving of a phoenix in ice.
"For you princess." He said while smiling. Having gotten over the shock of having such a beautiful partner.

Ariana blushed when Gat completed her on how she looked. She watched as he extended his hand and in it was a perfect carving of a phoenix in ice. It reminded her of crystal and was truly lovely but seem too perfect.
"For you princess." she heard him say smiling at her. She smiled then said, "thank you and you look very handsome" she toughed the phoenix with her finger tips before taking out of his palm and setting it in the palm of her right hand.
"what have you been up to? I haven't seen you in a while?" she asked calmly looking at him with a small smile. Her normally pale eyes were full of color and she seemed happy to see him.

"I've been.....ahh.....busy." He replied hastily. He did not want people around to hear where he had been. He leaned over to beside Ariana's ear and whispered.
"I'll explain later." On instinct he kissed her ear. He had no idea what he was doing and withdrew quickly. His face was bright red though hidden behind his mask. Then he hastily stood up and sat down next to her, still wondering what he had done.
"So...ahh....what have you been doing while I've been away?" He said. Hoping that she would not bring up what he had done in conversation as he would not know what to say.

"I've been.....ahh.....busy" she heard him say before leaning over to whisper in her ear, "I'll explain later." Ariana smiled when felt that he kissed her ear, it was so sweet and well cute. She put her put her left hand over her mouth trying to hide the smile from everyone else in the room. Gat hastily stood up before sitting back down. "So...ahh....what have you been doing while I've been away?" Ariana heard him asked. "Mostly home work, thinking, you know what most teenagers do. Oh there was one other thing but I'll have to tell you later about it seeing as it wouldn't do to talking about it around other people" said Ariana smiling at the beginning before frowning at the what had happened. Ariana looked away at the dance floor before raisin a eye brow at the people who were dancing. Though Ariana was never good at dancing she believed she had improved a bit over the years.

"No, I have no idea what most teenagers do. Your the only teenager I'm really connected to." Gat replied. He did not like telling other people about himself normally. He was normally withdrawn. Though with her it was different. He watched the many people dancing accross the floor. It seemed so graceful as if they were gliding accross the sky. Gat had no idea how to dance and never tryed it before. He probably would have practiced if he had not been called away so suddenly. He felt ashamed that he could not really have the privalage of dancing with her.
