Just another day at Hogwarts. Finily in Carrie's seventh year. Excited about everying but her N.E.W.T.s. Something she usualy spent all day on, but today she had decided on makeing a trip to Potter Park, somewhere where she knew she could go and relax. She had brought a book. But of corse on her way to the park she tripped over a rock or two, or ten! Her clutzy self. But she had finily gotten to the park, where she knew she would find a bench and sit and read her amazingly fun book. So she took out her book and began to read.
Her book had gotten boreing. So after about four chapters she ahd decided to stop and just go into a daze. Something she really jus did automaticly after putting her book down. So if someone was to go up to her they would literitly have to make a loud noise or atleast shake her roughly. But, she had been used to being shaked. Usualy it was teachers, friends, and family that would do that. Only because once she was bored she would go into this world of hers.
She had snapped out of it a moment to see no one near her, no one else in the park, it had been empty as far as Carrie knew. So she just went back to her daze and dream. Just her full mind in one place. With everything put to the side. The N.E.W.T.s just out of her worrieing zone. It was pushed to the back. To the frount was just compleat dream.
Caroline Madeline Hannahgon, the name kept comeing back to her mind, every once and a while she could feel herself flinch from the thought of it. Horrible memmories came from that name, as well as horrible memmoies came to the name Caroline Madeline Larson, her most hated name. But she was now happy that she had been able to make herself, her way. Go from now on as Caroline Madeline James, her birth name, her true name. Though she hated the name Caroline she aways used Carrie as her real name, and thats what everyone called her. And if they had called her otherwise for no reason just to get her mad or angry, it usualy worked.

The once quiet atmosphere of Potter Park was broken. Lydia Nowan had arrived.
Entering the Park grounds in a fit of laughter, this sixth year Gryffindor famous for her fun-loving ways skipped into the center of the monument, admiring the memorial dedicated to Harry James Potter with a smile. She wasn't going to be that disrespectful to someone that she truly admired...he had done great things. But according to what she had heard about him, he had been a Gryffindor himself and she guessed he wouldn't have minded her happy mood. Whoever said everyone had to sit here quietly anyways?
Half running, half skipping, Lydia made her way over mind a bush and then, suspiciously, sat down on the ground. Only a few seconds later, after checking her surroundings, she pulled out her wand and uttered a small spell. The ivy covering the ground magically reacted to such incantation, and a small box emerged that had been hidden. Now much more serious, Lydia pulled out a key and opened the box. Grabbing what muggles called "CD's" Lydia smiled once more and closed the box, causing the ivy to once again cover it.
It was funny how so many considered Lydia unintelligent. True enough, Lydia didn't really try hard in school. But when it came to things she really thought of use to her, she really put her mind to it. But why did she hide things here? There was no real answer. It was merely to add to the mystery of what she did, for she'd blasted her music in the common room enough that her CD's hidden in her dorm had been confiscated. So, she took the liberty of hiding them. And her CD player? When not being used, she had a hiding place for that as well.
Slipping a CD into her large pocket in her robe, she turned around and headed back towards the castle. Now, she was smiling once more. Oh, how she longed to sneak a party here! Too bad most students at this place were snitches or too cowardly to sneak out of bed after hours....As she walked away, she internally began to think about the consequences of this action. How long was she going to be able to get away with this? As impulsive and spontaneous as Lydia was, she did often times think about what she was doing with herself....

Carrie again looking around when she had herd the gate of Potter Park open. When she had seen her good friend and partying buddy, Lydia, she started to giggle. She was usualy in a fit of laughter when she had seen Lydia. She got up from her bench when Lydia was about to leave. Just before She had gotten to excape Carrie cought up to her "Lydia" she sayed going after her 6th year friend. Who had only been about a year younger in school years as well as years in age. But again, age is but a number. And to Carrie it had just been something that was aways in the way of everything. "wate up" she giggled running over to her friend.
Now back to age, it was sometimes in the way of some people's love, sometimes friendship. Even jobs. Thats why Carrie was excited but scared to get into the real world. But she kinda already was. She had been seventeen and a half. And had never really listened to what anyone had really told her what to do. She was one of those kids that had been in a mixed sorting. The way she had seen it, she could probably make it in Slytherin or Ravenclaw as well. But NEVER would she make a good hufflepuff. She wasn't loyal, nor all that kind to people she first meets, unless they are younger.
Carrie not only hated to be called Caroline but also hated to be called Carol. It had sounded to old for her likeing. Now, Carrie, Carrie seemed nice to her. She was aways called Carrie. Sence she could talk atleast. Carrie and Cookie were apparently her first words according to those as Carrie sayed Horrible women that took care of her 'till she had been about 9.
Carrie had again gon into a daze all that time. Finily getting out of it and back to Lydia. She looked down at what had been in Lydia's hand "whats that?" she asked. OK she knew what it was, but why did she have it. "Wate i know what it is but what on merlan's name do you have it?" she stated in an asking tone to her friend. She wouldn't inderstand why Her friend had had those muggle things. And she had been curious to know why.

At the sound of her name, Lydia whirled around the catch the face of the one who had spoken. It only took her a second to realize that it was Carrie James. Of course, why had she not recognized her voice immediately? She smiled on sight, "Carrie!" she exclaimed happily, wavy and laughing a little as she waited for the older Gryffindor to catch up with her. It took but only a moment for her to do so.
As soon as Carrie had caught up with her pace, the older Gryffindor ventured a question, “What is that?” Lydia couldn’t resist a guilty smile in response as it brought back thoughts of what she was about to do. But it wasn’t like she was committing any real felony, it was all good, clean fun; any one with a real sense of happiness would know that. And in this case, Muggles knew best. Lydia herself, being pureblood, and happened upon the device of a CD entirely by chance, but that had quickly sparked her interest. Now, she considered herself an expert in muggle devices and culture.
"Wait, I know what it is but why in Merlin’s name do you have it?" Carrie continued. This just brought out another laugh from Lydia and she once again grimaced.
“Oh…come on, Carrie. How could I resist it?” She laughed once more, “Don’t you ever wonder how I manage to keep that odd music playing in the common room? You didn’t think it came from Magic, did you?” She smiled widely, but then got a little bit more serious. “I say Muggles are more advanced when it comes to having a good time. They can’t rely on magic, so they come up with these amazing ways to amuse themselves. Truthfully, I don’t understand why we don’t take advantage of their science as well.” She laughed once more. “It’s so…creative, the way they party. We magical folks can be so boring…” She giggled at her last statement.
“But what about you? What are you doing here? Don’t tell me you’re reading another book again.” Lydia giggled as she teased her, making a mock face of boredom. It was no secret that Lydia did not like to read, although she did sometimes when trying to learn something that she considered important to her future. But she never read just to enjoy it, while she knew that Carrie did.

((OCC: sorry it took so long, I've just started school, and LOL I'm in loads of other RP websites, so posting now, soooooo sorry))
“Oh…come on, Carrie. How could I resist it? Don’t you ever wonder how I manage to keep that odd music playing in the common room? You didn’t think it came from Magic, did you? I say Muggles are more advanced when it comes to having a good time. They can’t rely on magic, so they come up with these amazing ways to amuse themselves. Truthfully, I don’t understand why we don’t take advantage of their science as well. It’s so…creative, the way they party. We magical folks can be so boring…” In between each statement Lydia giggled, it seemed Carrie joined into the giggleing. Something about Carrie, when one giggled, she just had to join in. Even when there was nothing to laugh about, she would laugh her socks off.
“But what about you? What are you doing here? Don’t tell me you’re reading another book again.” Lydia spoke to her, Carrie giggled and blushed at Lydia "Am I that prodictable?" She asked her still filled with laughter. She had left the book on the bench that she was sitting on. She loved the location and placeing of Potter Park, nicely not to near the womping willow, or not to close to the lake, it seemed prefect, for Carrie James, to read her long books.
"Sometimes I wonder about you Lydia Nowan, you and some others" she sayed to her than tryed to see the CD's that were in her hand "what kind?" she asked pointing to the CD's wondering, if they were the kind that she used to listen to when she was in the muggle world. Lydia, her purebloodself, aways liked muggle things
