Susan involuntarily stepped back a few steps as the headmistress began to go off. She had no idea this much anger and passion laid behind the sweet smile she always had plastered on her face. Susan watched in amazement as this didn't seem to faze Vivian at all. What gave a girl that much confidence? Susan wondered to herself with a little jealousy.
She let her eyes bounce between the headmistress, Vivian, and occasionally Keaira. LaPointe's accent began to slip in and out as the confrontation became heated. Susan shifted an irregular glance at the exit. Was she still needed now that she'd given her spiel, and if not, should she just slip out? Susan saw Keaira making no motions to leave, so she decided to stay too.
She returned her gaze to Vivian just in time to catch the words as they left her mouth.
“Accio”.
Susan let out an audible gasp as she watched Vivian's wand return to her own hands. Not many wizards could accomplish wandless magic, let alone a fourteen-year-old wannabe like Vivian. Susan returned her gaze to the headmistress, wondering what her response would be to such an act of defiance. Susan gripped her wand a little tighter and with a sideways glance at Keaira, readied herself for an attack if necessary.

Caira's entire stance tensed as Vivian plucked her wand from her grasp with a wandless accio.
((ooc: for the record, it think it's just a bit preposterous that a fourth year knows wandless magic, honestly... especially knowing wandless and dark magic together at such a young age... we now return to our regularly scheduled programming.))
"You've already been expelled and you're likely doing a stint in Azkaban, Vivian. It would be very foolish to do anything futher to get yourself into trouble. As Headmistress of this school, I'm obviously not incompetent with a wand." Caira held her own wand out in front of her, reasoning quickly. Obviously, the girl's wandless magic wasn't too strong... otherwise, she wouldn't have bothered taking it back and would have used the opportunity to catch them all unawares to do something far more nefarious.
The entire proceedings were interrupted as a post owl flew in through the window behind the desk. Caira used the split-second of distraction to physically wrench Vivian's wand from her grasp. Taking it in hand, she snapped it in half, not eager to have the girl take it back yet again so she could start flinging dark curses around the room. "Petrificus totalus." She cast the spell neatly, putting Vivian back into the full body bind state she had been brought into the office in. She turned to the painting at the far side of the room. "Everard, could I trouble you to call up someone from the Ministry for me? Improper use of Underage Magic? Or perhaps an Auror?"
The man in the painting replied, tensely, as though he either didn't care much for the Headmistress or was simply appalled at Vivian's behavior. It could have been either or both, really. "I've already done so, Caira... I see this little whippet's being a bit more trouble than usual."
Caira nodded. "So, someone will be here shortly then." She looked to Susan and Keaira. "Might I impose upon you both to stay for a bit? I'd like you to be able to attest to what you saw earlier today and just now. It'll be easier if we're all here and easy to find. Normally, I'd offer you tea, but this doesn't seem to be a normal circumstance," she remarked, unwilling to take her eyes from Vivian for too long.
