Height: 6'2
Weight: 205 lbs
Hair: Black (keeps it shaved)

Skin Colour: dark
Clothing style: Normally wears the tradiational clothes of a Wizard, normally does not deviate from this much.
Accessories: He wears a pocket watch given to him by his father.
Paragraph Format: Gameli is a stern looking man, with a constant serious expression about him. He rarely smiles, although there are laugh lines about his eyes, which can confuse others who do not know him very well. His skin is dark, denoting his obvious African heritage. He keeps his head and face shaved for the most part, although he will sometimes sport a goatee when he's feeling somewhat lazy. Despite being in his late thirties he is already starting to sport a bit of grey hair about his goatee, which he does nothing to dye.
Personality: Gameli is a very serious and stern man who comes off as being rough but kind. He truly enjoys teaching and he truly enjoys his students. He holds true enjoyment from the stars and Astronomy and is a wealth of information.
Because he is so rough around the edges, he has few friends. A social recluse, he keeps to himself and doesn't interact with others. Mostly it's just a lack of trying, moreso than anything else.
History: Gameli was born into a magic using family, although his mother was a Muggle. He has spent his entire life in the Wizarding world, although he does know about Muggles and their lives because of his mother.
Growing up, Gameli was always curious and interested about the stars. When he was ten, his parents purchased a telescope for him on his birthday. To this day he still has it, still in perfect condition.
Upon entering Hogwarts, it was a mix between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. Gameli was sorted into Hufflepuff due to his head always being in the clouds. Having a very overactive imagination, Gameli was also into the arts, his hobbies having included sketching and painting.
He had always been a huge prankster, playing harmless tricks and not-so-nice tricks on others. When alone, he would paint pictures of the things he would see from his telescope, or invent planets, stars, and galaxies to paint.
Around his sixth year of Hogwarts, he fell in love with a Gryffindor girl named Hannah Arronview. At this point, however, he had made a reputation for himself as an incurable prankster and pathological liar, to the point that she'd have nothing to do with him. Instead, to his detriment, she met and married a Ravenclaw boy and refused to even speak with him.
Stunned and heartbroken, he graduated Hogwarts with excellent test scores, but went off to become a painter for a time. It wasn't lucrative, but it paid the bills. He decided, however, that this was not what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. He still enjoyed the stars and their beauty. So he decided to dedicate his life to Astronomy.
He went to a Muggle University to acquire his degree, while doing extra odd and end jobs for the Wizarding world. He became very serious and distant, deciding that his prankster days were over. To this day he laments over the love that he lost.
Upon graduating from the university, he went off to do some studying while traveling. He declined a few offers to work for the Ministry of Magic but did not decline an offer to become a Professor at Hogwarts.
Why not return to the school that had taught him so much yet was a reminder of his ultimate failure?
And so now Gameli is the Astronomy Professor at Hogwarts. Stern, serious, yet kind and will help any student in need.
