so... I haven't really figured out how i plan on working this into the story line, or if i will even do so. The point is on June 23(i think) I will be leaving for a one month road trip in which I will be going from NC to New Orleans to Mesa Verde to the grand canyon to rainbow gathering to Las Vegas to San Francisco, to the redwood national forest to the Sequoia national park to Seattle to the Olympic national park to Yosemite to Mount Rushmore, and some other place that I may have forgot and then headed back to NC. I will have my laptop with me; however internet will be few and far between. I should be done gallivanting around July 23 or so….so in all honesty I will be potentially unavailable for about a month. Before leaving I intend to have any threads I’m involved in at that point wrapped up so that no ones waiting for a month for a reply. I’m sure that I’ll pop on every once in a while a lot of rest stops on the road have convenient WI-Fi. Anyway Just giving you guys plenty of heads up so I don’t forget to do so later. Speaking of which, if anyone knows some cool places to stop at between Seattle and NC they should send me a message. That’s going to be the boring part of our trip ~Keaira

We leave Wednesday, so I figured that I shouldn't start another thread until I knew how things were going to play out with the trip. I will be popping in and out over the next month or so, but no real solid attendance. If anything comes up any one can im me through aim, i should be mobil and will get them, or send me a text, one or two of you have my number. For now we assume that Keaira is busy studying to the fullest extent, and avoiding everyone like the plague. Which isn't that unlikely as she doesn't necessarily like many of you now see you guys around

Well here is a guick update from the road. We spent two days in new orleane which was so far the most exciting thing we did. We explored the garden district and the french quarter and took close to 300 pictures. After that we went to St Louis which unfortunately we didn't get much time at but we did see the gateway arch. After which it was to Kansas City to visit a cousin and now we are almost to junction city to see a friend tomorrow it will be Denver and after that there will be 7 days of camping in the mountians of New Mexico.
Hopefully I will get some pictures up on facebook while in Denver. I will give another update when I can.

So I never got around to putting pictures up you guys will just have to wait. So we did the Denver thing unfortunately there was a huge gay pride fair going on in the main park so the place was trashed and I didn't get many pictures. There were a lot of cool artwork hanging around though.
The week camping in new Mexico at rainbow gathering was alright. More about that when I'm on a computer.
Mesa Verde was after that and was a spectacular show of ancient architecture.
After that we hit a hotel in page Arizona and took a tour of antelope canyon. That place was probably the most beautiful location we have seen.
Then we drove to the grand canyon and hiked about a mile into it and it is immense. Literally it is the most insane spectacle I have ever seen. After that we spent about two hours in Vegas and gambled 30 dollars. It was amusing and really sparkley.
We had a friend in san Diego we stayed at who took us to a farmers market, a huge mall with crazy staircases and then lastly balboa park. A really cool place with a ton of beautiful buildings with ivy and grapes carved in to the pillars.
It was fun after that we headed up to LA to visit another friend who took us to Hollywood and the walk of fame we saw the theater with all the handprints and footprints of the celebraties. Jonny Depp has huge feet after that we called it a night the next day we spent at vience beach which was really windy. We did not touch the water.
Now we are a few miles from the sequoia national forest where we are going to hike some trails before headed to Yosemite.
Hope every one is doing well I will be back to posting regularly sooner than you know it.

So the sequoias are amazingly large, like you can drive a car through them huge. Really amazing.
Yosemite has some really breathtaking cliffs and waterfalls. we didn't take as many pictures as we wanted but we did hike into the mountains and camp out overnight.
After that we headed over to San Francisco where we have just been hanging out with a friend for a few days.and tonight were headed up the coast.
