I have an idea for a plotline and it has somewhat already began. But I want people to be aware of it so it can get bigger and more people can get involved!
Catherine has a plant project in the Forbidden Forest. Oblivious of the dangers, she works on it without thinking of Dementors or other evil things walking there. The plant project is complex, but more about that later. Alexander Archer has tried to warn her about the dangers in the forest, but Catherine is almost obsessed with her project and won't give up on it that easily.
Now, about the plants...
Since Catherine is a dryad (not aware of it though, just amazingly good with plants. She almost IS a plant), a few magical aspects has started to bloom in her. For example, she has found old artifacts about a World Tree, and different plants/seeds/herbs (let's call them extracts) etc directly connected to that. Or so the myth says.
There are five different extracts, Catherine knows about three and tries to create these. Each extract has amazingly powerful qualities, almost godlike. Gathering all five would make you a God, basically. However, in order to do this you need to be a very powerful wizard/witch (like Dumbledore) and also you need to have a dryad with you all the time who knows how to understand the extracts. Catherine herself is far from powerful enough to be able to wield these things, however, since she's the only one who can understand them, she is needed for anyone who uses them. A.k.a, if a dark person wants to use them they probably need to enslave Catherine or something to make it work.
This, however, is more than the people in the roleplay knows but I want them to figure it all out as the story progress. Also, Cath needs to find out about her past and blood. The older a dryad gets, the more connected and aware she becomes of the world tree and can feel it's call for her.
But as I said, Catherine and Alex has begun, and there's another thread where Catherine gets busted working on her project by Prof. Romanov, but that thread is quite... dead since Romanov hasn't been online for a while. But I want dark people to get to know about this and maybe first try to steal the stuff from Cath but then realizes that it doesn't work without her.
Whatcha think? This is just the scale of it all... there's enough room for more detail!

. I'll have to decide if I can devote the time to two characters though.
