As Alessandro felt himself descend deeper into the darkness, that tugging sensation returned, but this time, with a vengeance, and in the nick of time too. He had been plunging deeper into his subconscious where the darkness began to take shape. It was a giant hand about to grab him when the sensation kicked in. Keaira's voice ricocheted inside his mind as a booming "ENNERVATE!" was heard. He instantly was flung backwards into the light, engulfing him until there was nothing but white.
Alessandro gasped and took in a deep breath. His eyes widened as he came out of his stupefication flailing like a fish. He had never been stupefied before and was thankful for that now. The sensation was quite odd causing his entire body felt like jelly as his consciousness was ripped away from him and sent to a dark place. He sat upright quickly hugging his knees and and shaking his head.
He looked up at Keaira. "That was seriously not fun..." He said to her seriously. "I heard you inside my head..." He added looking at her sideways.

Kearia had been watching Alessandro intently, looking for any sign that the spell had worked. What she saw was slightly frightening she had never seen anyone wake in that kind of a state. It was like he had been fighting a battle with some great evil force, and had barely escaped it. He was shaken, it was quite obvious, and then he mentioned hearing her voice in his head. Perhaps she should have just done the spell with out the added push. Not too many people knew her secret and she intended to keep it like that.
“It must be a side effect of the spell, it must cause some disorientation.” She knew that it wasn’t the truth, but she felt the need to make him believe it to be so. It wouldn’t do to have every one running about knowing her secrets. “It looks like I was the first one to get it right? So I guess it’s your turn.” She extended her hand out to him, in a kind gesture, he appeared shaken, and she felt it would be a good thing to offer him a hand up.

He frowned slightly as she brushed it off as being a side effect from the spell. I didn't read any of that when I studied the spell... He thought feeling she may be keeping something from him.
"Yeah...probably..." He said in accordance with her explanation. He took her hand greatfully as he felt that they had rather patched things up. He was glad about that. He didn't need any more enemies right now at this point in his life, especially with a whole army of darkness threatening his very world.
"Alright." He said standing up straight and brushing himself off. He extracted his wand and gave it a couple swishes. He waited until she was about ready and then gave her a head nod which meant to tell her that he was going to perform the spell.
"Stupefy!" He cried as he flicked his wand at her, expelling a bright red jet of light.

She noticed the slight frown on his face as he agreed halfheartedly to her statement. She reflected that he might not be completely satisfied with her response, however he did not press the issue, and he did not reject her helping hand. She smiled inwardly, as she helped him up. Helping others, good karma.`
Stupefy, derived from the latin word stupefactus meaning stunned. She reflected on that seconds before nodding back to Alessandro, it was after all her turn. And she was ready. The spell came at her, and she almost flinched, resisting the urge to dodge, or try to counter the spell, she allowed it to hit her. It wasn’t a direct hit but it was enough. Her head swirled, the world was upside down, and then she stumbled backwards, and into the mattress.

(OoC: I'm rapping this up due to the fact that you guys aren't responding. Be glad I'm not taking house points for this!)
Mordred was at his desk taking notes and watching the students preform, they were actually doing quite well. As he began another paragraph on his parchment an owl flew in through an open window and dropped a letter in his lap. Mordred opened the letter and read it very quickly. He stood from where he sat and addressed the class. "I'm sorry class but I have a very urgent matter that can not wait. We will continue with the next lesson in a few days.
With that said Mordred waited for the students to grab their things and leave. He tapped his foot impatiently until the last one finally left. Mordred walked out of the door, closing it behind him.
