(( OoC: Continued on from: www.ragedsyphers.proboards100.com/index.cgi?board=apothecary&action=display&thread=1190509346&page=3 )) Seeing Blaire vanish in a whirl of green flames, Dylan didn't feel fabulous even looking at it occur. In a moment of insight, he didn't believe that his own trip would be very good at all. Hearing Alessandro's comments, he quickly averted his eyes from the woman, embarassed. After these quick actions, he felt slightly aggravated. Why should he feel embarassed? The woman had been equally as rude, warranting a reaction from him. Returning his gaze to her briefly, he narrowed his eyes before seeing another rush of green flames from the corner of his eye. Grimacing, he stepped forward. He grabbed a small handful of green powder from the mantlepiece and stepped within the fireplace, feeling that the warmth of the previous two trips was still evident. Casting one last look at the witch nearby, he closed his eyes tightly and threw down the powder, speaking the name of the Hogsmeade pub. His mind whirred, his stomach churned and his elbows smacked the brick walls on either side of him. He tucked them in quickly. The lack of food within his stomach made him feel nauseous, equally as much as any presence of food would have. Landing face-first on the floor of the Three Broomsticks for the second time this year, he got slowly to his feet, grabbing a nearby chair to support himself. His eyes were showing him a blurry image of the room, and his mind raced agonisingly. Taking a seat, he attempted to calm himself.

He was hurdled through the floo network at a magically rapid pace. Flashes of fireplace exits zipped right before his eyes as the destination appeared off in the distant darkness. It zoomed at him at high speed as it finally became his exit. In a brilliant flash of fire, Alessandro tumbled out of the fireplace, face-first onto the ground, his bag hurdling with him.
Yes, indeed, the Floo Network was not his favorite way to travel.
He brought himself up, dusting off his jeans and shirt. It was his favorite muggle department store shirt: a dark navy tee emblazoning the number 3 in a light blue base, with white applique. His jeans were the normal boot fit style he usually wears, with moderate fading down the legs, and his favorite pair of green hemp chuck taylors.
He hoisted his sidebag over his shoulders and gave Blaire a look that said: "What?" and shrugged his shoulders. He turned to the fireplace right as Dylan was coming through. He stopped back quickly as Dylan fell face-first onto the pub floor as well.
Glad I wasn't the only one... He thought with an inward smile. Dylan propped himself up on a chair and Alessandro walked over to him, assuming Blaire was doing the same.
"You alright?" He asked as he tilted his head, his long brown hair dangling in his eyes.

Regaining enough of his vision to be able to see Blaire and Alessandro, he saw the latter of the two approaching him. "I'll be alright," he replied quietly, very aware that he was not quite answering the question. Taking a few deep breaths, he steadied himself further by continuing to clutch the head of the chair upon which he was seated.
Ignoring the disapproving looks he was receiving for his less-than-elegant entrance, his mind slowly ceased whirling. Finally feeling as if he were able to support himself, he tested his legs out initially before standing on his own two feet. Smiling half-heartedly, he decided against nodding towards either of his companions and simply weaved his way to the door.
Emerging onto the street beyond to find a light, refreshing breeze tugging at his senses, he traced the familiar path to Honeydukes. Entering the relatively empty shop, his mouth began to water at the sight of so many sugary delights crammed into so few shelves.

((ooc: sorry i havn't been on lately))
Blaire laughed at the not so graceful entrance of Alessandro and Dylan. She, too, had almost lost her balance but quickly regained it. As the three of them moved though the pub and out onto the street , Blaire remembered the odd look that was being exchanged between Dylan. She shrugged it off and weaved in and out of groups of people so she wouldn't get lost in the crowd.
Blaire looked up at the sunny blue sky and thought Wow this is a beautiful day. She smiled as the wind went through her hair and across her face.
The trio soon reached a humble looking building with ads all over the windows. Blaire was excited about this trip. Honeydukes was one of the few shops she hadn't visited in Hogsmeade yet.

"Ohhhh ohhhhh...." Alessandro moaned in ecstasy as he eyed his favorite sweets riddled within every nook and cranny in the shop called Honeydukes.
"You guys...This could become addicting..." He said as he reached forward and pulled out a licorice wand from a glass jar on a nearby shelf. "Look!" He exclaimed as he swished the sweet through the air. "They're bewitched to shoot off different color sparks!" He said as the wand displayed the special effects of the color flash charm.
He meandered over to an aisle as he perused the contents of each shelf. "Edible Parchment, Sugar Quills, Lemon Drops, Crunchy Crazz-Wazzles..." He murmured as he looked at each sweet.
"Oh, where are they..." He said softly as he continued to rummage through Delectible Edibles, and Jumpin Jinx Jellies.

Laughing happily at Alessandro's reaction to the shop, he knew that he'd found a kindred spirit; someone who could fully appreciate his own boylike love for the sweet shop. Observing his dormmate's display of a licorice wand, his attention soon turned to the rows upon rows of sweets. Jars of mint humbugs and marshmallows, chocoballs and peppermint toads. Massive barrels of Drooble's Best Blowing Gum and Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans were shoved into corners, and Hogwarts students roamed around the entire shop.
Squeezing his way over to the nearest Bertie Bott's barrel, he briefly surveyed the contents of a table labelled "for a kick". Displayed were what he recognised to be exploding bon-bons, pepper imps, and fizzing whizbees, among other things. A group of what appeared to be third year Hufflepuffs moved towards the entranceway and revealed the table behind them, this one labelled with "unusual tastes". Remembering with a grimace the time he'd unwittingly tried an acid pop, naievly under the impression that surely it wouldn't actually harm you.
Continuing his way around, he finally found the area he'd been headed for and scooped up a gigantic lot of the multi-flavoured beans, dumping them into a brown paper bag. Rolling up the top, he cast his eyes around for more delectables. Coming up behind Alessandro in an attempt to reach the jelly slugs, he heard him muttering about something and his interest was sparked. "Looking for something?" he inquired loudly. Normally he was a quiet boy, but today was an exception as he was wanting to be heard over the rabble of students present.

(ooc: I'm going to make Blaire have to leave that way i won't be holding up the thread. I'm not gonna be on as much and i don't want to hold you all up)
Blaire looked around at the little sweet shop, all the candies filled her eyes. She had never seen so many wizarding candies, considering that she was raised by muggles. As she soaked everything in, she heard Dylan laugh at Alessandro's reaction. She tried to muffle her laughter, but soon she just let it out.
Walking around the store, she saw the sugar quills. Blaire picked some up for herself and looked around more. Suddenly a grey owl zoomed into the shop, not welcomed by the store keeper, and dropped a note on Blaire's head. She opened it and read
Blaire, Come on back to Diagon Alley. We got to get you some more things. DON"T STALL! Your Aunt Wendy
"Sorry you all but I have to go." Blaire said holding up the note. " She walked to the register and paid for her quills and went out to the street. She walked back to the shop from which she had emerged from the fire place, dissapearing from her friends eyes.

As he rummaged through the endless array of tantalizing sweets, he heard Dylan's voice carry into his ears above the banter. "Looking for something?" Alessandro turned his head to see Dylan behind him, and he straightened up, facing his Ravenclaw mate.
"Yeah, I can't remember what they're called, but they're by Bertie Bott's, its a variation off the every flavor bean. They make you sound like different animals, blow jets of steam out of your ears, several different minor magical side effects of the like." He said as he eyed the store around Dylan and then bringing his gaze to his eyes. "Do you know what they're called? They may just be a seasonal sweet...and it's not yet christmas..." He said realizing the time of the year he probably had tried the sweet was around the holliday season. He remembered that this type of bean not only tasted amazingly good, but it made him levitate four feet off of the ground, the next bean made him roar like a lion. He absolutely had to have them, if not now, then surely he would for the hollidays.
He stood there glancing over his shoulders, hoping that he would see the label in bright neon print, with arrows pointing "This Way!".

Showing obvious signs of surprise as Blaire indicated a necessity to leave, he managed to direct a nod at her before she swiftly departed the shop. Returning his attention to a slightly erratic Alessandro, he grinned at the boy's comments. "Sorry, I know what you mean but I can't think of the name, either," he replied in a voice louder than usual, wanting his voice to be audible over the general din of the shop.
Checking his watch briefly, he looked back to Alessandro. "Oh, mate, I'm sorry, but I have to go as well," he added, his hands furling the bags contained within them even more. Without much of an explanation, he hurried off to the counter, producing several coins and placing them into the shopkeeper's hands. Without needing any change, Dylan made his way back through the crowd and found the door once more. Exiting the shop that he found so enthralling, he continued up the main street of Hogsmeade and hurried back towards Hogwarts.
