Christopher stopped and set his luggage down in front of a door leading into a small brick house. As he reached his hand out for the doorknob, a raindrop fell onto his hand. Christopher looked up, examining the sky, the weatherman hadn't called for rain today, but they have been wrong before. Sure enough, the sky was a mix of light gray and dark gray clouds. He quickly reached for the doorknob, only to find it locked. Christopher then resorted to knocking on the door. Why his mother insisted on living in this muggle neighborhood was beyond him. He allowed his arm to fall back to his side and began to brace himself for what lay ahead.
The door flew open, falling short just a few inches of whacking him in the face. A small, very petite woman stood there. She was dressed in what seemed like an old flower-print dress, an apron, and dawned a pair of shiny spectacles. Christopher watched her as she eyed him suspiciously. Finally her eyes found his, and in a split second, she threw her arms around him and began to sob. "Christopher! My Chris! I can't believe you're here!" She sobbed a little longer then wiped her nose on her sleeve, "You stay gone far too long." Christopher let out a little chuckle, "Mom it's only been two weeks." Another raindrop fell, this time landing on his nose. Chris pulled away from his mother's embrace and wiped away the raindrop, "Can we go inside now? It's bound to start pouring any minute." Venetta smiled and reached for his luggage, only to be stopped by the brute standing in front of her. "Not so fast, I think I can handle these bags," snorted Chris. Venetta turned and walked inside, flustered he wouldn't let her help. Chris smiled and walked through the door, "It's good to be home."

Christopher is a very relaxed kind of guy. He facial expression are either one of the two, serious or happy. His constant work as an Auror at the ministry keeps him deep in thought, thus the serious face. When he's not working, he's usually just having a good time with his friends. He isn't quick to get angry, but if you push the right buttons, you will surely see his dark side. His skin is naturally tan, so even after days of working inside, he'll still have that slight bronzed look. His face is usually neatly haven, but sometimes can be a bit ruff.
Personality:
Christopher is very much devoted to his job as an Auror. He is constantly trying to outdo himself. Christopher enjoys his friends and is very protective of them, as well as his mother. Seeing as how his mom is the only one he really has left, he is very family oriented. His funny and witty personality result in him making friends just about everywhere he goes.
Christopher isn't exactly "smooth" with the ladies. He has had just one "serious" relationship, but it ended with her leaving him for someone else. Since then, Chris vowed never to invest so much into one thing. Things can easily be taken away, but never easily regained. Rather than set himself up for failure by looking for the "right one", he has opted to let the right one find him.
His friends in the ministry are what keep him sane. They have been there through some of the more rougher times of his life. He has always had the luxury of relying on them, but with his new mission, that luxury has been taken away. If not for them, he would have gone crazy over the endless amount of paperwork that came with his job. Apparently, he didn't read the fine print.
History:
Christopher is the son of Andrew and Venetta Wren. His father was a muggle with no relation to the magical world, besides his wife. When Chris was just 6, his father was hit head one morning on his way to work. So Chris' mom has raised him alone ever since. Christopher's mom, Venetta, is a full-blood witch. She worked for the Ministry years ago, but resigned to being a stay at home mom once her son was born. Christopher's first experience with magic came when he was 8.
One evening Chris was playing at the neighborhood park with a few other kids. They had been playing tag for roughly 20 minutes. Chris was becoming increasingly frustrated, due to the fact that he had been "it" every time, besides one. After about 5 minutes of running about and trying to tag someone else, Chris gave up and threw himself onto the gravel that surrounded the swing set. He dug his fingers deep in the rocks, allowing his fingertips tips to touch the cool dirt. He was fuming over this game, he couldn't understand why! He concentrated on the rocks, trying to forget about the mindless game. After a few moments, a shriek by one of the little girls he had been playing with erupted through the silence. Christopher quickly looked up and immediately froze, the gravel he was sitting on was somehow levitating almost a foot off the ground. The rocks only stayed there for a few seconds before falling back to the ground. Christopher sat there in shock of what he had just seen as the other kids quickly retreated to their homes.
Venetta had been busy enchanting the house in a attempt to get the housework done faster when she sensed the use of magic nearby. Living in a relatively small muggle neighborhood, she quickly went for her son. When she opened the door, she witnessed the rocks levitating in the air and her son sitting in the middle of it. She stared in amazement, had her son inherited her gift to use wandless magic? A kid ran past her house crying and darted into the house two doors down. This broke her concentration, snapping her back into reality. Venetta rushed for her son.
That was the first time Chris had come into contact with his magical powers. It was then that his mother knew her son had inherited the magical gene she had carried. She wasted no time on him learning to control his anger, and in return, his magic. By the time Hogwarts came around, Christopher had already learned vast amounts about the magical world through his mother and her books. Christopher's years at Hogwarts seemed to go too quickly. After his first year, Christopher felt as though he was on top of the world, and couldn't wait for the summer to end. School came relatively easy to him and he always received the top grades in his classes, besides the few he found boring, History of Magic mainly.
It was in his 6th year that Christopher was first introduced to an Auror. You see, Hogwarts had been under careful watch of the ministry, resulting in a handful of Aurors being dispatched to guard the castle from any threats that lurked nearby. After seeing what the Aurors did for a living, and with his passion for Defense Against the Dark Arts and thirst for adventure, he knew he had found his calling.
After leaving Hogwarts, Christopher immediately enrolled in the Auror program and went into training. It took a lot of hard work, but with his impressive wittiness and ability to use magic without a wand, Chris was soon accepted as an Auror. His first mission, locate a group of crazed giants and "negotiate" a treaty with them. You see, a group of giants had recently moved into an area populated by muggles. A few of the muggles have claimed to have witnessed "monsters" in the mountains that they frequently hike in. The ministry had managed to keep everything hush hush, for the time being, but steps needed to be made to get the giants back where they belong.
It took a lot of work, bruises, and broken bones, but Chris eventually got the job done. He returned to the Ministry with his head held high and eagerly awaited his next mission. Many more adventures, struggles, and broken bones came his way over the next several years. And now, seven years later, Chris has been dispatched to one of the two places he has ever called home, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
