PRISCILLA PLUMTREE
Name: Priscilla Plumtree
Age: 37
Sex: Female
Nationality: English
Speech: English
Blood: Pure
Father: Severin Plumtree
Mother: Wilhemina Blackwell
Siblings: Tristan Plumtree, Serena Plumtree
Other Family: N/A
Family Interactions: Priscilla interacts with her family during Hollidays and Birthdays, traveling to the south of England to where her mother and father live. Her sister and brother, along with herself, all live in London, England, where the Ministry of Magic is stationed. She is the only one of her siblings that works for the ministry. Serena is a medium for muggles, and Tristan is a Quidditch player for the Inferno's. Priscilla seems to interact with her brother and sister more than her parents, more likely because they live in the same city, she frequently meets Serena for lunch dates or coffee. Tristan is usually away with his team. Priscilla's husband, Thatcher, or Thatch, works for the Ministry as well in the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes, where he works as in the Obliviator section, skilled with memory modification.
Height: 5 feet 4 inches
Weight: 100 pounds
Hair: Dark, chocolate brown, pulled back tight in a bun.
Eyes: brown
Skin Color: white
Clothing style: Stepford-like, very prim, proper, and put-together, dark colors, such as black, cafes, and greens suit her well.
Accessories: none
Other: Stylish, half-moon spectacles, horn-rimmed-- for reading.
Paragraph Format: Priscilla Plumtree could be described as a short woman with a slender figure. Her height, however, is nothing to take lightly, for her bark nothing to worry about, it's her bite. She weighs in at about 100 pounds even, staying in shape by jogging whenever she can. Her fiery red hair is worn usually in a tight, pulled back bun, which is her signature hair-style. If she is seen deviating from her routine, her hair would most likely be let down past her shoulders, styled to perfection, or in some kind of clip.
Her green eyes compliment her features well, for she is fair skinned. If she were to go to the beach, she'd need to bring a very potent SPF, for her skin would burn easily, instead of getting a nice tan. The clothing she generally wears is business formal, to business casual, as she works for the Ministry of Magic. A typical outfit for her day of work would be a tight black or brown skirt, the hemline just above her knees, a matching belt with a large, ornate buckle. White blouse adorned with a broach, and a jacket to match her skirt. Her choice of footwear would be stilettos or pumps.
Personality: Priscilla can be relentless if she is faced with a task and has a small amount of time to complete it. She'll do whatever it takes to get the job done. She has no appreciation for those who cut corners or take short-cuts. Laziness is a pet-peeve with her as she clearly puts in 110 percent. She obeys the rules outlined for her, and tends to waver between right and wrong, but usually stays on track towards whats right, but that doesn't always mean that what's right in her head, is whats right in reality.
She has an eye for pointing out other peoples flaws, and telling them how to fix them, but takes to criticisms very poorly. If anyone were to give her constructive criticism, she would not take it in a positive manner, and instead, form a grudge against those who disagree with her point of view. She is a touch controlling, and tends to wrap her will around those she surrounds herself with. She likes being in control and knows it.
History:
Priscilla Plumtree was born to Severin and Wilhemina Plumtree on September 21st. She was born in a small village outside of Essex where she was raised with her brother and sister, ages 3, and 6. Severin Plumtree comes from a long line of purebloods, as well as his wife Wilhemina, so it was no surprise that they would turn out three magical children. The rivalries and childish fights that went on in their household were no less than magical, and had to make sure that they lived in a pure wizarding community, so as not to strike up too much attention to their feuding household. Of course as the children aged, their powers settled down a bit, as they usually do.
Severin and Wil had the pleasure of culturing their children in the magical world prior to them receiving their acceptance letters, as all of them had shown magical ability. They all grew up knowing of magic, and the wizarding community, so by the time they were all ready for school, it was nothing alien to them. Tristan was the first to go, then Serena, and then finally Priscilla. She was sorted, like her brother and Sister, into Slytherin house, as her father had been. Her mother was a Hufflepuff, oddly enough.
Priscilla showed great prowess for cunning, and skill, and was very calculating. Her spellwork was brilliant, as to be expected from someone from such pure lineage as she. She was always constantly having to live in the shadows of her brother and sister, who had since paved the way for her through the years, and she hated it. She wished to be disassociated with their greatness, and wanted so desperately to be accountable for something on her own. She took a strong interest in Care of Magical Creatures, and Herbology, as those were her two worst subjects. Her desire to succeed pushed her forward and she soon began to take a liking to learning about the magical creatures which roamed the magical realm, as well as its unique and potent herbs and plants.
Priscilla left Hogwarts having been Slytherin prefect, a role that she took with pride. She did not fit the Slytherin stereotype 100 percent. While she was a bit stuck up about her heritage, she did not hold prejudice against others for being half or muggle-born. She did not openly voice this, though, as she knew that many would turn their sights on her. So whenever members of her house would talk about blood status, he reluctantly kept her mouth shut to avoid conflict.
After graduating, she went out into the world, and studied abroad, centering her focus on dangerous plants and animals, both muggle and magical. After her study she applied for an open position at the ministry
for a spot in the Department for Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures.
Several years later, Priscilla found herself faced with taking a different position in the ministry. They had seen her flair and expertise in the area of Magical Creatures and Plants, and needed someone of that caliber on their team in the Department of Mysteries. She jumped at the opportunity and found herself delving into a different field of work, adapting quickly to the intensity of her job. Recently she was approached about an assignment at Hogwarts: School of Witchcraft and Wizardry regarding mysterious and suspicious activities on the grounds and within the school. A pack of rogue dementors seemingly had made a home in the Forbidden Forest, and that seemed like her cup of tea.
