"I don't understand!" Alessandro cried as he stared up at his step father, Hewlett Worthington Romulus III. He clutched a crinkled letter his mother had written him a couple days prior to this unwanted withdrawal of him from Hogwarts.
"This is not for you to understand, your mother and I have caught wind of certain escapades that have been going on here at Hogwarts. We dissaprove Alessandro, and for your own safety, we're withdrawing you from school." He said looking down at the fifteen year old boy as he stood surrounded by various trunks and belongings.
Alessandro felt hot tears streaming down his face. He was sure that his mother had nothing to do with this decision and that it was purely the sole decision of Hewlett. A thick lump developed in his throat as he desperately struggled to maintain his composure in front of the man that married his mother, the man that he despised. Alessandro began to think of the lightfighters as Hewlett and he began to collect his things. He would be separated from them, yet he would keep practicing everything he'd learned so far. This was not over yet. He was sure that after a couple weeks or so of him breaking down his mother back home, he'd be back in Hogwarts in no time.
Hewlett brandished his wand and flourished it at Alessandro's luggage, causing an eerie green glow to surround his things and in a flash, they were gone, presumably already back at his home in London.
"Now, we shall be using a portkey to get back, come along now Alessandro." He placed his hand on his shoulders and urged him along. The two made their way down the long path away from the Hogwarts double doors. With a deep breath and a long sigh, Alessandro looked over his shoulder to catch one last glimpse of the great stone castle that he'd come to love so much. Hewlett must have touched the portkey because all of a sudden everything swirled away from him and spun out of sight, and then there was nothing.

((I felt like someone needed to respond to this..))
Keaira was running up the stairs taking them two at a time, trying her best to win against time as she knew it was against her. Her heart pulsed as she reached the final stair. The doors were closed but she knew that mere minuets ago Alessandro had passed through them. She felt as if her heart was in her throat as she ran toward the doors, and pushed them open.
Her eyes were blurred by the small tears that were beginning to form, she knew what was going on, and it hurt her more than most things ever could. She had felt the outcry of sadness and injustice coming from Alessandro moments ago, and knew that it was because he was leaving. Just when she had gotten close to him, things were going so well, and now he was leaving. As she looked out in to the courtyard she saw the small group that she knew to be Alessandro in the distance with his family. She raced forward but failed to make it more than 10 feet when she watched as the older man with Alessandro place his hand on a small object and the group spun out of sight.
"Nooo," She cried out as she watched him disappear. Her heart beat hard in her chest, as it felt like the world weighed down on her. She stumbled forward and fell to the ground, it was as if the weight of all the losses that had recently occurred was hitting her full force. Her legs would not carry her any further, so they simply folded them selves up under her body. She felt like sobbing but knew that such displays were not intelligent. So she just sat there, in the cold dead grass, and allowed silent tears to fall down her face. "He's gone, and he didn't say goodbye." Hot tears streamed down her cheek, as she looked toward the spot where he stood moments ago.

Corrian had been out collecting weeds for a small potion he had to try for homework. He sighed. He never liked potions and had never been particularly good at brewing them. His mother had, but that was long ago and she had neglected to tell him the secret of Potions success before she died. This thought fluttered through his mind in a rather wry tone as he kicked a clump of dirt out of his way while walking back towards the castle, drooping weeds clenched in his fist. He hoped they were the right kind.
Suddenly, he noticed Keaira sitting distraught on the ground. He frowned. Normally, he would have left her alone (he didn't fancy himself all that good at making people feel better) but she was directly in his path and there was no ignoring her. He slowly, cautiously approached, hoping not to excite her into a fury of emotion or anything unpleasant of that sort. Corrian simply was hopeless about girls in fits of emotion.
"Er, Keaira?" he asked, faltering a bit. "What's wrong?"

The sadness burned inside her as she gazed forlornly at the vacant spot of grass that Alessandro had last stood. She knew that there was no chasing after him. it would cause far too much suspicion and there was that added unnecessary note of danger to it. She let a tear drip off her chin before she brought her sleeves up to her face carefully wiping them away. There would be plenty of time for sadness after she made sure he was going to be alright.
She let her eyes close as she thought about Alessandro. The way his hair sometimes fell in to his eyes, the smell of his skin when they were dancing at the ball. That little sparkle that his eyes held when he was planning a trick of some sort, the mischievous smile that danced upon his face. All these details came to her mind clear as day as she sought out the signature that was Alessandro hoping to pull on his mind and find out what she could about his departure. As she let her mind reach for his fading consciousness she let her other senses slowly fall away.
So when she suddenly found that some one was calling out to her it came as no shock that she had been successfully snook up on. As the voice reached her mind she forcefully thrust her own thoughts away and snapped back in to the courtyard. Fully aware that she was vulnerable, her body tensed and she automatically went to her pocket to reach for her wand, not remembering that it wasn't there. With her eyes opened, and her mind centered where it should have been the realization that she knew and trusted the boy before her came to her. She let her body sink back in to a very seldom seen slouched position, as she gazed open eyed at the gates of Hogwarts.
"I-...." She paused realizing that her voice was slightly raspy, and cleared it before continuing, "Alessandro's parents just took him out of the school....." The tears that she had managed to push away threatened to come out again as she let the thought sink in to her once more. "He's gone." She had grown so fond of Alessandro over the past few months. A fondness that she had seldom ever felt for another person, and now he was gone. and so swiftly she didn't even have a moment to prepare.

Alessandro...gone? But why? Corrian frowned and sat down beside Keaira on the grass. This certainly was a difficult situation. Corrian knew Keaira had a right to be upset, but he wasn't all too sure how to be of any help.
"I'm...I'm so sorry," he said awkwardly. He chewed on his bottom lip, searching for something slightly more intelligent to say. "Do you know why he was taken away?" Now, that was a pretty dumb question. Wouldn't that just add salt to the wound? He tried another tactic. "I-Is there anything I can do to help?"
Corrian hoped Keaira would at least answer that last one. Then he might feel of some use, if anything. He felt rather silly sitting there with no way to be of help.

As Keaira sat on the grass her gaze never leaving the spot she last saw his body she wished for nothing more than to be able to disapear in to the ground beneath her and not return. To simply sink away in to the darkness that so surrounded her life.it would be bliss. Wait. What was she thinking, she could not simply sink in to the darkness she must fight it. It would do Alessandro and the others no good if she fell in to the arms of the mage due to her saddness.
As Corrian's words filled her ears she thought about it. Yes she did know why he had gone. Some how his parents had gotten wind of him going in to the forest and other unsavory actions of the sort. Some how his parents knew he had been involved with the light fighters, and that knowledge prompted them to act. It was what she knew to be true. But she also knew she could not share that thought with any one. People might question how she came about that knowledge. An answer that she could not give. So she turned her head to face Corrian. And with sad eyes simply shook her head,
"No, I don't know why he's gone, I only just found out he was leaving this morning." Her voice was soft and sad as she spoke, although she tried to keep her emotions in check she felt the pain ripping at her. What she wanted was to simply sit alone and sulk. But the more she reflected upon it the less it seemed to be a good idea. "Yeah, I need a distraction. If you know of a way to provide me with one I'm sure I will fell a bit better."
