Fred was walking along a corridor in the dungeon when he was disturbed by an owl. It came bearing a letter that he tore of quickly before shooing the owl away. Otherwise it might be eaten by the creatures in the dungeon. He finished feeding the animals before climbing the stair on his way to the headmistresses office. He had a ripped pair of jeans with a white shirt with the arm teared off. He had a slight spray of blood on his shirt. He only realised how he looked when he came to the office. 'No going back now.' He thought. He slowly made his way inside. Shifting his blue hair out of his eyes.

Caira looked up as her door opened. "Oh, hi Fred," she called brightly, her face taking on its normal sunny smile. Her forehead wrinkled slightly at seeing his shirt. Though it seemed odd that he would come to tea dressed in such a manner, she assumed that his appearance was pretty typical for someone who dealt with dangerous creatures all day long. She stood from her desk and gestured to a pair of chairs by the fireplace. "Well then, I just wanted to check in to see how things are going since you arrived. I've been so busy that I just haven't had time to check in with everyone here."
She selected a teapot from the small round table in front of her chair and began pouring two cups of tea. "Do you take anything in your tea? I hope Earl Grey is alright." As she was pouring, a house elf entered with a small tray of sweets and set it beside the tea service. "Oh, thank you Gindy. They look absolutely scrumptious."

"Oh, hi Fred," "Well then, I just wanted to check in to see how things are going since you arrived. I've been so busy that I just haven't had time to check in with everyone here."
"Oh, things are going great." Fred replied with a smile on his face.
"Do you take anything in your tea? I hope Earl Grey is alright."
"Anything and everything." Fred answered. He was happy to be in such joyful company.
"Oh, thank you Gindy. They look absolutely scrumptious."
Fred looked and saw a house-elf walking to them with a tray in his hands.
"I hope you don't mind me asking. But how did all those creatures get inside the dungeon?" He asked her with interest.

“They were brought in by the previous gamekeeper,” she replied brightly. “He loved bringing in all sorts of animals… even some that are probably a bit too dangerous to be kept in a school.” She shrugged and took another sip of her tea. “As the new gamekeeper, you’re free to add or remove to the connection however you see fit. Actually, I wanted to ask you a question, Fred,” she said, setting aside her teacup.
“You see, our last Care of Magical Creatures instructor has left. I think she had some sort of family business to attend to. I was wondering,” she leaned forward slightly, a persuasive smile on her face, “would you be willing to fill her position? There’s a slight pay raise involved, of course. You’ll find a bit of a bonus in your packet if you agree to fill in for. I thought that maybe, as you’re already involved with tending to the creatures, you’d be the logical choice for someone to teach the students about them.”
She retrieved her cup and took a slow sip, waiting to see what Fred’s answer might be.

"I see..." Fred thought about this for a moment. He figured that it would be a lot easier to keep track of the ones inside the dungeon then outside in the forest. The last game keeper had been smart indeed. But how to KEEP them in the lower levels. Fred's train of thought came to an abrupt halt as she started to talk once more.
"Actually, I wanted to ask you a question, Fred,” [/glow] Fred started to listen intently. Curiosity was visible on his features.

Fred thought about this for the moment. His specialty was potions and yet he had gotten himself into caring for animals. Sure he could do it, but didn't he have to be qualified or something. He considered it further. He was sure he could do it. He thought about how empty his pockets had been lately. His answer was almost instant.
"Sure, why not." Fred answere. He would have to study up on them though which would take up a lot of his time.

Caira smiled brightly. “Excellent! I really hoped you’d agree to help me out with that. Of course, your pay packet will increase with the new responsibilities as well. I know it’s not really the job you were hoping for, but it’s the best I can do for now.”
She smiled and sipped her tea again. “So, tell me how things are going for you here at Hogwarts. I know I just threw something pretty big at you with that promotion… sorry if I blindsided you with it.”
She reached forward and selected a small chocolate tart, biting into it with a look of ecstasy on her face. “My god, the house elves outdo themselves every time I have tea here,” she said after she had carefully chewed and swallowed her bite of tart. “These are absolutely amazing. You have to try one!”

"No, its quite alright. I am grateful." Fred replied to her. He was glad to get the job, though it was not the one he had trained for. He smiled back.
[glow=red,2,300]“So, tell me how things are going for you here at Hogwarts. I know I just threw something pretty big at you with that promotion… sorry if I blindsided you with it.”[/glow]
"Yeah, you did slightly." Fred said before chuckling to himself slightly.
"I think I've got a friend in mind for my first lesson then. Uh, yeah." Fred said realizing that he had subconsciously ignored her question.
"Things are going great, as you can see from my clothes, I have come quite a way with the poor little....things." He said before beaming at her.

Fred was happy to oblige. With a big grin on his face, he picked up one and took a bite out of it. It was completely delicious. He could not hide his look of satisfaction.
"So..." Fred said while wiping away the crumbs from his face.
"Hows things been going as a principle. It seems like a very difficult job in my point of view." He asked her with curiosity on his face. Fred was a very trusting person and was easily manipulated. He was too nice for his own good.

Caira smiled as she listened to Fred. “Really? A very difficult job?” She nodded slightly. “Yeah, I guess I agree. I never realized just how much work went into being a headmistress.” She leaned forward a bit, a slight smirk on her face. “You know, I think I would have been better off staying with the International Ministry. Diplomats were tough, but much easier to deal with than Shadows and the like.” She chuckled a bit as she finished her statement. She figured there was no need keeping the Shadows a secret. The school was already buzzing with rumors… there was no need to give those rumors any credence by being secretive. “But what’s been difficult for you?” she asked, looking for something a bit more specific.
