Sorry guys its been fun. You have a great site here and great members. The problem is it gets to wrapped up in itself for someone who is even on to stay active on.
You have two many boards to keep track of threads when a simple sub-board would solve the problem
Your board descriptions force me to scroll down continuously just to check a thread and then go back.
Mira never became a shadow warrior like I was promised
Kono never learned anything from Spade like I was promised
Alessandro and Wyst became kids Kono met one day since he was always practically kicked out of meetings.
Pheonix showed up after I did and you gave him the elemental master position even though I asked for it first
Any time I tried to enter a thread I was overwhelmed with three pages worth of nine paragraph posts making it impossible to be helpful in anything.
The Classes 'close' after a certain date to where you are late if you try to post in any of them afterwards.
I asked when I got here if I could help you make some cool skins. Mordred never replied. I put up an ad for my site and nobody looks at it. I make all of Diens metahuman skins and still not one single person except Dien has commented on how I did and it was only on his site.
I'm a 13 year old kid who wakes up goes to school and gets back around five. Ten sentences when the only thing your character has to reply to are someone elses charcters THOUGHTS and 'Hi.'
I was active on six sites when I started this now I'm down to 3. One I've been at for a while that is months from death, one that I own and then there's the one that I asked you guys to help me set up. ONne person volunteered and helped for a bit then left and another wouldn't even consider helping me.
You guys are just way out of whack. I tried to help you when I got here and you wouldn't accept my help. I tried to RP when you wouldn't let me help and kicked me out of that by not allowing Kono to be an elemental master even though I was more active than a lot of your members. The DA was a joke cause all they were allowed to do was practice their charms. They didn't get to fight, they didn't get to train.
You guys simply don't know how to run a site. If you give out limited positions that never renew or increase and keep everyone who isn't one of those positions out of the loop eventually all you are going to have is the people in the loop.
Mark my words. your teachers will leave your students will leave and the only ones who will stay are the shadow warriors the elemental masters and the staff characters.
I'm done now. I don't have to time effort or need for a site that can't listen to anybody but itself. I'm not going to blow and spam your site like that other guy I'm just done. Please remove my characters from you plot and my site's advertisement from your board.
All that I ask is that you leave this up for your members to read. I don't really care if they agree or the like it or that hate it or insult me behind my back. I just want others to see that I have made suggestions and asked for positions and was denied. You can explain to them. You can post here so they can see your side of it just leave this thread up.
Goodbye and farewell.

So then… I suppose I should make a response to this… alright… here goes. Paragraph by paragraph.
Sorry guys its been fun. You have a great site here and great members. The problem is it gets to wrapped up in itself for someone who is even on to stay active on.
I agree, this site is great… we’ll expound on that later… I prefer to keep this as brief as I can. I’m not yet sure what you mean that it’s too “wrapped up in itself”… so… we’ll come to that when it’s explained.
You have two many boards to keep track of threads when a simple sub-board would solve the problem
Too many boards? I don’t understand what the big difference between having many boards and having many sub-boards. Either way, there are many locations one would have to check to for threads. I’ve changed the link at the bottom so that players can view the thirty most recent posts… anyone wishing to keep track of his or her own active threads merely needs to bookmark them.
Your board descriptions force me to scroll down continuously just to check a thread and then go back.
I’m not really sure what that means… you’re upset that we employ creative descriptions in our boards, rather than just the title of the board. I think it’s far more interesting with a snappy little description. Eh, difference of opinion.
Mira never became a shadow warrior like I was promised
Guess what, if you want your character to become a Shadow Warrior, you needed to post in with her some… we can’t discover the abilities of a character who never posts in. I’m sorry, but this was really your own fault. I believe Mira had five or six posts on her resume when you left… where in the world were we supposed to discover her.
Kono never learned anything from Spade like I was promised
I’m sorry but I have no control over the actions of another player. If Spade wasn’t cooperating with you, it would have been best to make plans with another character. Unfortunately, the nature of an RP forum is constant change and shifting. If someone isn’t playing out a plot the way you want (like in the case of Spade, who pretty much stopped posting at the time you mentioned), then you just have to find someone who will.
Alessandro and Wyst became kids Kono met one day since he was always practically kicked out of meetings.
We never excluded anyone who wanted to be in the meetings from them. All you had to do was post in. At the time, you were part of the group. We try not to nag people to play… you’re responsible for bringing your own character in when the need arises.
Pheonix showed up after I did and you gave him the elemental master position even though I asked for it first
Phoenix was a much better poster than you were, plain and simple. Elemental Masters were chosen for their ability to write well and follow a thread. You did not demonstrate sufficient aptitude in this area for us to grant you the position of Elemental Master.
Any time I tried to enter a thread I was overwhelmed with three pages worth of nine paragraph posts making it impossible to be helpful in anything.
The point of literate RP is that the posts are somewhat lengthy and interesting to read. If you don’t enjoy reading them to catch up, this wasn’t really the place for you to begin with. I feel that having the description makes it much easier to follow the flow of the story.
The Classes 'close' after a certain date to where you are late if you try to post in any of them afterwards.
You are correct. Some of the classes have been known to close rather quickly. However, in defense of the Professors, it seems pointless to keep a thread open when no one is responding. But we can’t just leave the threads open after they are done… that would make starting the next class period pretty much pointless. Most of the classes I have observed, seem to have remained open for several days… I haven’t noticed the other players having any difficulty with this, as they sign in often enough that it poses no problem.
I asked when I got here if I could help you make some cool skins. Mordred never replied. I put up an ad for my site and nobody looks at it. I make all of Diens metahuman skins and still not one single person except Dien has commented on how I did and it was only on his site.
At the time, we did not need skins. We appreciate the offer, but when you first arrived, we were still getting used to the way the site functioned ourselves… Mord and I are only two human beings… sorry if we didn’t respond quickly enough. If we don’t pay attention to something, try a reminder… all of us here have rather busy lives and are capable of occasionally forgetting things. I’m sorry no one visited your site… again, we have no control over the actions of other players. Most people have difficulty being active on multiple sites… there simply aren’t enough hours in the day. You’ll have to talk to Dien about the Metahuman skins and lack of compliments yourself… that really has absolutely nothing to do with this site. In short, you’re complaining to the wrong people. I spend many hours working on hand and very rarely hear any thanks… we do these things because we enjoy them. Don’t expect to be lavished with praise here (especially for work done on another site… that’s just a ridiculous expectation to begin with.)
I'm a 13 year old kid who wakes up goes to school and gets back around five. Ten sentences when the only thing your character has to reply to are someone elses charcters THOUGHTS and 'Hi.'
There wasn’t really a complete thought here, but I’m assuming you’re complaining about the posting minimum. You know what, even when your character isn’t speaking, there’s a lot going on… that’s why most of us post internal thoughts… you respond with what your own character is thinking. It makes the character seem more complete and gives the reader some idea into how he is making his decisions. Posting here requires thought… that’s one of the things most players enjoy about it.
I was active on six sites when I started this now I'm down to 3. One I've been at for a while that is months from death, one that I own and then there's the one that I asked you guys to help me set up. ONne person volunteered and helped for a bit then left and another wouldn't even consider helping me.
Hey, we’re all busy… volunteering means free work. It seems a bit rude to expect your fellow gamers to help you with another site. As I said, there aren’t many hours in the day… for some of us, just keeping up with one site at a time is enough to keep us busy. This complaint really has nothing to do with HAND.
I was in charge of the DA… I stopped having meetings because people drifted off and didn’t really seem interested. You have to take some initiative upon yourself. Don’t wait for someone else to start a thread and invite you in. Every player here has the ability to start threads… post yourself in and someone will almost always respond. Again, the reason you weren’t made an Elemental Master was that your posts simply weren’t of the quality that demonstrated an ability to carry the role.
You guys simply don't know how to run a site. If you give out limited positions that never renew or increase and keep everyone who isn't one of those positions out of the loop eventually all you are going to have is the people in the loop.
Everyone who wishes to take part can play into the threads… as the headline on the header states, both sides are building their armies. However, players can’t expect to simply be invited out of the blue… you have to post, build relationships with other characters. This is dynamic RP, modeled after real life and real human relationships. If you want to play, play! There are plenty of roles for everyone.
Mark my words. your teachers will leave your students will leave and the only ones who will stay are the shadow warriors the elemental masters and the staff characters.
Change is the nature of the internet world… as people leave, new people come. What will keep us alive is the ability to adapt to the changes as they occur. As I said before, people who wish to get involved will find ways to enter the RP’s and become part of the group. I think we’ll be alright.
I'm done now. I don't have to time effort or need for a site that can't listen to anybody but itself. I'm not going to blow and spam your site like that other guy I'm just done. Please remove my characters from you plot and my site's advertisement from your board.
I would have listened, had you presented any of these problems to me before. Regardless, here is your response. Do with it what you will. I’m sorry you feel the need to leave without even speaking to me about it, but rest assured, I will move your character profiles to the Inactive Character board. If you decide to come back, they’ll be awaiting your return.
All that I ask is that you leave this up for your members to read. I don't really care if they agree or the like it or that hate it or insult me behind my back. I just want others to see that I have made suggestions and asked for positions and was denied. You can explain to them. You can post here so they can see your side of it just leave this thread up.
Granted, your post is left up, along with my response. The problem is that you didn’t make the suggestions to me… I haven’t heard these complaints until now. Sorry I couldn’t help you with them. As I said before, you were denied positions because you didn’t demonstrate an ability to keep up with them. I’m sorry if that offends you, but it’s simply an honest assessment of your RP abilities. Had you taken a bit more initiative and played your character more, you doubtless would have found a niche that suited you. I’m sorry you didn’t and I wish you the best of luck with your other sites.
Sincerely, D’rorah Philosophy

Following up Gat, I'll have to agree.
I don't believe that i've actually thanked any of the Administration as of yet, which I should have. I absolutely love this site, it's literally the one that I've enjoyed the most out of the list of about 20, so a big thankyou from me!!
I think you've actually got a great site here, which has obviously had a lot of effort and still has a lot of continuous effort put into it. I appreciate a place so good that it can take me away from real life and make me happy like I haven't been in years *smiles*
P.S. I like the little board descriptions too, I think they're really funny lol.

Pardon Mord... he was having his own childish moment. I've taken it down because I've decided that his pointless little rant makes my intelligent response look dumb by association.

Yeah, I don't think I've thanked any of the admins either since joining, so thanks! This is the first RP I joined and it's real fun! It introduced me to the world of RPGs and inspired me to create my own site. Oh, and Dee even taught me how to be a mean admin
