would you live each moment like your last? D'rorah met Bryan when he inexplicably showed up in the library one day and asked to sketch her. She was surprised by the request and somewhat flattered by the resulting images, but didn't think too much of them after the event. When she discovered that Bryan was the newest Elemental Master of Wind, she felt a certain relief. She was near corruption following an extended time spent in the Shadow Realm and the death of her Elemental master. He is a quiet, calming presence in her life, his unobtrusive thoughts a small, soothing stream in the back of her mind wherever she goes now. She feels herself slightly drawn into the Kelley clan now with the addition of Bryan's brother, Sam, as a new Lightfighter. She worries about the safety of their family, knowing how close all the members of the Kelley clan are, and does her best to hide their meetings in order to protect Bryan from having to endure the pain of losing them.

D'rorah said: "Bryan is my Elemental Master, a kindred quiet spirit to share the mental connection particular to a Shadow Warrior and Elemental Master. I am dedicated to ensuring his safety and survival... and not only because losing another Elemental Master would simply be too much. Even though we do not speak often in the halls, I always feel his presence in my mind... his calm observations ground me in a world that I have come to feel distant from."
Bryan said: "D'rorah may seem like an odd presence in the castle, with people being off-put by her appearance, but she is probably one of the more caring people I've met. I know it's not easy to see, but I know from the connection we share. I know I'm safe with her as my Shadow Warrior; I only hope I can keep her equally safe when she needs me."[/ul][/ul]

would you live each moment like your last? Caity has only met Bryan the once, but knew of him beforehand as the new Elemental Master of Wind; Mallan's replacement. Just on its own, that makes any feelings towards him complicated, but as he's so similar to his predecessor anyway, that makes it even worse - an artist, and a sixth year, and a Gryffindor. When she did eventually meet him, she found that tiny little actions or words that he said were annoying her; things that she knew wouldn't annoy her if they came from anyone else or in other circumstances. She's trying not to show her dislike, simply because she knows how illogical it is, but doesn't really know how well she's doing at hiding her feelings.
[/ul]
Caitlin said: "I want to like him... but, half the things he does or says annoys me, and I know they shouldn't annoy me, which annoys me even more... I don't know. It's complicated. Plus he's an Elemental Master, so I really should try to like him more. And I don't even know if he knows I don't like him particularly. I haven't even spoken to him in a while, so... ugh, I dunno. It's confusing."
Bryan said: "I really can't say I've interacted with Caitlin much. I know she's the Shadow Warrior of Water, but that seems to be all I know aside from her being the same year as me and the Hufflepuff Prefect. However, I can't help feeling she doesn't like me as much, but I don't feel like I need to make a big deal out of that since we get along well enough regardless whenever we happen to be together."[/ul][/ul]

would you live each moment like your last? Although Kerridon has never really met Bryan, he knows enough about the boy to have an opinion on him. Both boys are keeping the others' secrets; Bryan's position as an Elemental Master and Kerridon's relationship with D'rorah. Kerridon would be inclined to protect Bryan if the need ever arose because he knows that the Gryffindor is vital to D'rorah's safety. However, having heard of at least one occasion when Bryan wasn't there as he should have been to prevent D'rorah's corruption, Kerridon's feelings towards the boy are not particularly positive.
[/ul]
Kerridon said: "Bryan Kelley... I have never actually met him, but I know enough about him to realise that I do not like the boy. He should have been there for D'rorah when she needed it - that is his role as Elemental Master and he failed it. Unfortunately, since I cannot really attempt to find someone else to do the job better, he will have to do and hope to improve in the future... If he does not, I will simply have to impress upon him just how important protecting D'rorah is."
Bryan said: "I don't really know Kerridon past what I have heard of the Ravenclaw from other people. I know he's important in some people's life, and I appreciate that, but I don't know him enough to form a really solid opinion on the matter."[/ul][/ul]

would you live each moment like your last? It was a Saturday morning over pancakes that Susan met Bryan. He was nice and Susan couldn't help but start a conversation, even if superficial, with the boy. They'd shared the same house for five years and had never really spoken before. Initially Bryan's artistic abilities intrigued Susan, but it was his kind personality and quiet yet friendly disposition that kept her running into him around the school. It wasn't long until it was revealed that they were both of the same side in the Shadow Wars, both lightfighters as well. For awhile they only saw each other at the occasional meetings held in the Room of Requirement. Then it was Susan who caught Bryan trying to sit and draw at the school dance, the Valentine's Ball. It was then and there that they paired, if only by default to begin their spur of the moment date. They parted later in the common room, Susan's head spinning with excitement, hoping to see Bryan again soon.

Susan said: "I'm really glad to have met Bryan. He's a super great guy and he's a lot of fun to be around. We don't talk nearly as much as I'd like, but at least we tend to run into each other plenty."
Bryan said: "Susan is nice and I'm glad I got to meet her. However, I wish there were times we could have met more often instead of just when responsibilities dictated that we had to."[/ul][/ul]

would you live each moment like your last? Alessandro and Bryan know of one another, and have shared conversation few times in the history of them being there at Hogwarts. Because of their year difference, Alessandro doesn't always get to see Bryan, but they do share a fair few classes together, and for that, Bryan is someone that Alessandro sees on a regular basis. Having gone through some serious family/personal issues, being withdrawn from school, obliviated, only to return with a fractured psyche yielding a disarming, magically induced multiple personality disorder, he went about his business completely oblivious to Bryan Kelley's recent alliance with the lightfighters as their Elemental Master of Wind. Shortly after he was healed via the personal link the two of them shared, known as D'rorah Philosophy, he left Hogwarts once more, this time an act of destiny pulling him to the far reaches of dimensional obscurity, only to return again finally feeling like himself again...for the most part.
Now that Alessandro is back in business, he is ready to explain what he has learned during his time away to his allies, the lightfighters. As Alessandro becomes more clued in on the changes that went on while he was gone, it may be awkward at first, but he is more apt to befriend Bryan on an average level, giving him the respect and support that an ally should naturally give someone in league. If the two ever decide to share secrets, perhaps they would find that they both share a unique talent that most reference to as being a "seer".
[/ul]
Alessandro said: "Bryan is a nice enough guy. He seems very smart and unique in his own way, though, I've not really taken the time to get to know him deep down. Being a couple years younger, I feel sort of timid when approaching older people unless I'm sure the feeling is mutually welcome."
Bryan said: "Alessandro seems an intelligent person, however perhaps that's kind of cliche given he's a Ravenclaw, but I haven't really interacted with him much and really only know him from class and now our mutual involvement in the Light Fighters."[/ul][/ul]

would you live each moment like your last? Kang and Bryan don't actually have a lot of history, or any to be honest. Bryan probably doesn't even know who Kang is because I doubt D'rorah would have mentioned him. The position of Elemental Master of Wind has travelled through Kang's family for generations, but for some reason the Light decided not to grant him the position, and instead it went elsewhere; at the moment, to Bryan. Naturally, especially given his personality, Kang is not going to like the person who he sees as taking his place. However, he knows that Bryan is vital to D'rorah's survival, not to mention that she likes him, and so is determined to keep him safe and well. That doesn't mean he has to be nice, though.

Kang said: "Bryan Kelley. He's the boy who's D'rorah's Elemental Master... that should have been
me. I'll protect him, sure, for D'rorah's sake. Make sure he's training properly so he can protect her. But he's where I should be - I was the one who trained with her for years, it traveled in my family. Who knows why the Light chose him. I might be protecting him, but I certainly have no plans to be nice."
Bryan said: "Kang Xiu? I only know of him from D'rorah, and aside from that I don't know much, nor have I really interacted with him much yet to really say anything."[/ul][/ul]
