The door of the wandmakers shop opened again, and Michael Homewood entered. But expected from Michael there was nobody in the shop. Even the shopman was absent. Michael was unsure, walked towards the sales counter and rang the bell. But nobody came and Michael shouted: "Hello??". He waited a minute and shouted again: "Hello? Is somebody here??". After an other minute he put a sheet of pergament on the sales counter and sat down to a chair next to the door.
On the pergament was written:

Preferred wand length:small (something between 8 and 10 inches)
