The halls were fairly clear on the vibrant day that Tasha had chosen to again find herself in the library. Her eyes traveled along the halls and into the different paintings with and unfading smile on her face. She was dressed in what was commonly seen as her normal clothing. The white and black cloth that fell around her figure just perfectly. Tasha took special care to allow herself time to change her hair and eyes to match the color of the outfit. This time she had taken care to change her hair color to an obviously abnormal look. the normally long red hair was now a rather blunt and dull black with three pure white streaks. On of the streaks was on the right of her bangs, another aligned with her left shoulder, the last of them a bit further back on the right side of her head. The strange taste in appearance that only Tasha enjoyed as a normal way of dress was becoming slightly more apparent. Her eyes were a symbol of her growing individuality, with the iris of one eye being black and the other white.
Despite the dark look of the porcelain little doll, she bounced along sweetly. The black lipstick she rarely wore had a small cross stamped into her bottom lip in white. The matching parasol she held on her right shoulder was twirled freely in her fingertips. She wasn't carrying her backpack today, as all she was looking to do was read and test spells. She instead carried a smaller bag that held parchment and quills. The girl skipped along the halls and into the doors of the library where she slowed and stopped to see who was there. There was no one in sight and she was sure that it wouldn't be loud... which was a given. Tasha strolled around for a moment or three in search of a book to look through, and found herself gazing at a book that was surely a bit beyond her year.
Tasha selected about four books, one of which was reading material of the forth or fifth years students. Naturally the only thing she was interested in was transfigurations and metemorphmagi. The books were of these topics, two on each. Tasha's frequent visits to the library had allowed her to better understand both subjects, the meta part was especially beneficial as it was her natural trait. She was not very good just yet, but she was better then she had been before. Tasha pried open the book most likely to make her struggle through it and looked through it carefully. The theory introduction was the same in nearly all of these books as far as Tasha could see, and she decided to look into simply casting a spell.
Tasha found a spell that she was almost sure she could read and raised her wand to read it. The only thing is that her wand decided in that moment to play a prank, and as the wand reached it's place above her head Tasha parted her lips to speak but was interrupted. Without warning there was a large Sharp-tailed Snake on the book. The serpent wasn't venomous, but it was at least double it's normal 8-12 inches and found itself right at home on the pages of the book. Tasha paused and simply smiled at the serpent, petting the scales and abandoning her intentions.
"Well hello there."
She cooed, replacing her wand in the small compartment in the end of her parasol. She rubbed the scales of her new little pet and placed her elbows on the table in the back of the library. It was a good thing no one came here to check on the students, she was free to wait and relax. She checked her watch and exhaled. Looking up as if expecting someone before she muttered to her serpentine companion.
"My other friends should be getting here soon."
