Just lurking around the dungeons can pay off in the long run. Well it did for Carrie. She had simply been wandering around the dungeons and found the house elf kitchen. More thankful than ever she was so hungry. She had looked around and saw no one there at that moment. So rushed in and over to the fridge. Where she had opened it and saw what looked like miles of food cans, trays, and things that are going to need to be cooked. She looked at the fridge a moment in compete awe. She was hungry. She had missed breakfast, lunch and dinner. She had never been like this before. All she wanted to do was march into the now open fridge and eat it all. Sure if someone came in and saw her she'd look like a pig. But oh well.
She marched over to the fridge and grabbed things things ranking from potatoes to cooked cold meat. She was eating it. But not really feeling anything. Like she didn't feel bloated. She did have that good matiblism. When she could eat what she wanted but not really gain anything from it. Ya it was a little freaky. But Carrie went with it.
She was almost done when she though she herd something outside of the door. it might have been a house elf. Hoping it wasn't she stayed there as still as a little kid would if they were told that the only way a dinosaur couldn't see you is if you stood still and than they had been told that there was one behind them. So she had been rather still at the moment. Hoping that rule might apply here.
But she looked back making a movement. And she knew if that rule applied there, her plan failed miserably. So she stood up quickly stepping away from the food crumbs that had been on the ground. Looking at the blacked figure that seemed to stand before her. Trying to make out the thing she squinted her eyes at it. Knowing it couldn't have been a elf as of the hight but might have been a student or professor.

Irritus was a night-time person, both by nature and by habit. He wandered through the halls as best he could most nights and usually without the aid of a disillusionment charm. Though, this night Irritus was lazy and didn't much feel like watching his every corner. Even if his years in the dark had taught him well, he was rather weary of his close calls. As of yet he had played the roll of uninterested student to hide the fact that he was searching for his sister. He had yet to know exactly why it was to be secretive, but he felt it had to be. His tall and lean body was built well for lithe and stealthy motion. And his chameleon image made moving about more or less carefree. As such he was pleased he'd cast it on himself this night.
He had dressed simply, his robes were light and he wore his sash around his waist in case it was needed. His magical little rod was strapped to his side and he had made his way from his common room and to the end of an interesting dungeon path. He heard the sound of footsteps ahead and slowed, carefully moving as to avoid alerting whoever had passed before he had. His quick and silent steps mimicked hers as to ensure there was no sound to be heard. The slytherin made it into the room behind the girl without detection, well almost. He had made it to the door that he'd never known to be there and watched the stranger.
Seeing her ravage the refrigerator so hungrily and pack down so much food actually aroused a smirk. Irritus had no choice but to turn his normally indifferent face away as to avoid from laughing at the sight. He was unsuccessful though, and made the mistake of chuckling a bit. The sound had been enough to alert his previously unaware companion and she seemed rushed to avoid being seen as she was. Irritus quickly undid the spell as to not cause her to be suspicious of why he had been so well hidden. He was at least masked by the darkness, though he wasn't so well hidden as to be unseen. She turned and looked his way, he knew she saw him. He was strangely interested in her, his first impression had been enough to bring a reaction from him.
Irritus stepped forward into the light, allowing the light to reflect slightly in his smoky blue eyes. The luminous effect seeming to make the hazy blue orbs shimmer as he smiled lightly. He turned up his palms and shrugged, sure he had been caught. His unpredictable personality falling along the lines of flirtation as he thought of how to approach her.
"Seems you caught me watching you. I'm sorry I couldn't help myself. You stuffing yourself was simply enchanting..."[/i]
He had barely been able to keep a straight face as he spoke, and the moment he finished he doubled over in actual laughter. For the first time in his life he had found the actions of another person truly hilarious. Though, it may have been the fatigue of night sleeping yet this week.

There's something inside me called Absolute Hatred Who softly kills everyone around me with Hardcore Loathing They don't know they're dead to me 'Cause intent never makes a sound Once the figure had come into view Carrie had to squint a moment. Just to get the light into her mind and into prospective. She really didn't know the figure. Well whom it was. Slytherin she had guessed, from the expression on his complexion. Something she usualy guessed from everyone was their house. She aways guessed before asking. But she looked at the figure before he had began to speak to her. "Seems you caught me watching you. I'm sorry I couldn't help myself. You stuffing yourself was simply enchanting..." He had saye, by the looks of him he seemed as a fourth year? She had guessed, but than again she had been wrong that time. He was a fifth year. Carrie looked at him once more rolding her eyes after he had sayed so. She didn't want anyone to be watching her. She had responded almost immedatly when she sayed "Sorry, I really didn't want anyone to be watching me, I didn't eat any meals today" she confessed to him. Though she really had no idea who he was. Or if he had been stalking her or not. "Sorry but if you don't mind me asking, who are you?" she asked him hopeing not to sound to rude to the boy who was in frount of her.
Carrie went back to the pile of things on thr ground. It had been a mess of things. From, forks, spoons, knives, plates, and actual food that Carrie had been eating. 'Hey, atleast he wasn't a house elf' she though to her self in realif. If he had been a house elf than she'd be in trouble. The students wern't supposed to go into the kictions. Especilly when it was this time of night, as well as it had been off limits most of the times. The House Elves didn't like many students going around the their kiction and messing everything.
Carrie had put her hair in a low pony tail so it was now out of her face. Easily revealing her brown eyes that hair had before covered. As well as a bobby pin in her hair keeping her bangs out of her eyes as well. Though they really didn't bother her. One thing she had been waiting for now was for the boy to know who she was and call her Caroline James or Hannagon or Larson. Yes, she did have three possible last names. And she didn't know what one was her real one. In a way that scared her, but one thing she did know was that Larson, wasn't her surname and never will be. But she was hopeing he'd ask the same question about her name as he did to her, or she'd feel a little dumb.
Though she didn't even know the kid's real house or year either. She had only just guessed. And guessing is sometimes right. Though he probably already knew her house, by her robes she had been wearing. She had forgotten to change out of them. She was wearing Her Gryffindor school robes. Newly bought with them the correct black tone and not worn grey-ish black ones she had used to wear that were hand-me-downs from other students.

The female's reaction to him was a bit less extreme then he'd expected. Irritus felt as if she was most comfortable with the situation, even as she had obviously been followed and found. Many others would have likely had a bit more shock at seeing a person of his size and stature appearing from the darkness but it was more or less irrelevant. the fact that she was so relaxed with him brought a calm about him that was mildly unnatural to him. It was common for him to be annoyed by the reaction of strangers, but this one had a normal and pleasant atmosphere about her even with him here. The normality of the conversation given the illegal state of the situation nearly dragged a grin form the dark stalker.
Her questions were as normal as any and although he had first expected to be asked how he'd found her he was pleased. In all his days of slipping along the moonlit grounds he had yet to be blessed with such a pleasant meeting at the fullest height of the moon. He stepped a bit closer as to make the distance their voices would need to travel. He didn't much feel the need to be interrupted by a teacher or a foolish little elf.
"My name is Irritus Arcanum. A slytherin fifth year. and you?"
his smile was natural even though false. the soothing charm of his voice seemed to so fully fit with the night. Irritus was a dark person and lived most naturally in the dark, the darkness made him all the more alluring an individual. He was tall and solid for his age and his voice was a bit deeper then most. the boy was further along then necessary in his physical state, though his magic was still a bit stunted, his casting stamina was literally obviously short. He seemed to be interested in the girl before him, and he wondered how comfortable she really was with the night.
"Do you come out passed midnight often?"

She looked at the boy as he addressed himself, as she had asked. "Carrie James, Gryffindor, seventh year" She stated to him. She started to lean on her counter her stomach grumbling rather loud. She wrapped her arms around her stomach, thinking that it might make it less noticeable, or quieter. Than, she moved her arms, taking her right arm and putting a strain of her ginger hair out of her eyes, and behind her ear.
"Do you come out passed midnight often?" was the last think he said, and she answered immediately. "NO, I'm usually asleep at this time, but I missed the meals. because of the N.E.W.T.s exams." she explained with a sigh going back over to the small pile of things on the ground, there was chicken on the plate that Carrie picked up and pulled apart and ate. "Do you?" she asked him back, he seemed a bit mysterious "Or are you just stalking, or following me?" she asked, he sure could be doing either, thats kinda what it seemed.
She looked at him a moment. She couldn't fully see what he was wearing, or what he really looked like. Only the face was truly clear. Or sense it had been late, and Carrie had been looking at books all day, her eyes were just being stupid. But she could put that off. Now examining the look on his face, seemed to be something that she usually did when she met new people. Maybe to remember the face of him or her, or just to get a good look at them.
She herself had still been in her Gryffindor robes, with jeans and a red shirt on. It had been a little cold out so she almost aways wore her school robe, but not the full uniform. And today, being a Saturday, she could wear anything she wanted.
