Family Interactions:
Ah the family, A family that has but one daughter to raise and nurture. From the moment she was out of her mother she was already spoiled rotten. Anything that she pointed at she got. Her little finger was like a tiny magic wand giving her what ever she needed. Over time the spoiling stopped and fights broke loose between parents and daughter, but with a little push Kristil broke the habit and became good friends with her parents. Each day they read together in the library of the west wing in their house. After one finishes a book they tell what they liked most about it and who should read it next. When a book is completed its title is set in either a good book or bad book pile.
Kristil’s heart is always with her parents. She would rather go out with them, and then go hang with her friends. When away at school she writes them all that is going on in the past month to keep them updated and her mother always responds with “when is the word boy friend going to pop up in these?” This is the one thing that Kristil always gets a kick out of.
Christmas is a special time of year for this family. The traveling from one house to another is always an interesting one. Can you imagine going from one Christmas where the food is floating to the table and serving itself to you, then going to one where you had to get up to get it? Well those are her Christmases. Each Christmas day they go from her dad’s family’s house to her mom’s. It’s a very interesting switch. The cousins on her dad’s side always marvel at the fact that her mom is not a witch. Her dad is the only one who married a muggle you see. All of Kristil’s distant and close cousins on her dad’s side are pureblooded. When they hear that they have to walk over to their presents to open them their mouths drop. Even though they sometimes pick on her for this Kristil doesn’t mind. She is who she is and cant change it even if she wanted to.

Paragraph Format:
Kristil is a long blond headed girl with eyes of hazel that will surprise you. Depending on what she is wearing Kristil’s eyes change from hazel, to blue, to green. The blond locks that she acquired from her mother drape down over he shoulders like the limbs of the willow trees. IT is naturally highlighted and silky to the touch. Her skin is like that of a new born white child, smooth, and peachy white. To some she is average height but to herself she is sort. She stands at 5 feet 3 inches and withes to be 5 inches taller. For this she sometimes wears high heals for the allusion of height. With a body of 100lbs she is petite and slender. This is the one part about her body that she enjoys the most.
The way this girl dresses is like an identity crisis. She dresses in skinny jeans that rang from blue to rainbow colored, tank tops that hide under sweatshirts, and sometimes the occasional skirt and t-shirt. Her shoes consist of converse, High top converse and more converses. Each piece of clothing in her closet comes in almost every color that you may think of. You could say that she is a clothing queen. Normally she wears big bead necklaces with matching bracelets but the one thing that she is always wearing is a crystal necklace from her grandma on her mother’s side. The crystal is blue and hangs from a black chain. It’s the one thing she treasures most in the world.
Personality:
Kristil is kind of two faced if you will. She’s loving to animals but sometimes a brat to everything else. Most would think yea she’s a brat. But that’s only if you don’t know her and have given her a reason to dislike you. You see, she creates opinions on people by first impressions ‘Most’ of the time. The first day you meet her is the first time she judges you. If you give her a reason to be nice to you then she will be. Give her a reason to hate you and you’ll wish you hadn’t.
When she is around animals you will think that she is the nicest person you have ever met. The way she holds them close in her arms portrays her as caring and loving. Each small detail there is in taking care of a specific animal she knows. When she is around them she smiles ear to ear and to no end. Her happy laugh is only brought out by them and them only though.
With people she is very different. Yes she loves her friends but because of this she wont lie to you about anything. So that dress that with the purple ruffles and blue poka dots, don’t ask her if she likes it unless you are ready to get your feelings hurt. That’s something that she really needs to work on. Hurting people’s feelings. Yes she will be one of the upper classmen picking on the first years but that’s expected anyways. She doesn’t mean to hurt her friend’s feelings but it just happens. Kristil is a very blunt person.
Now if you are an enemy of Kristil’s don’t try to be buddy buddy with her in the halls. She wont buy you bull crap or take it. Either she will give you a glare and tell you to go away or she will flat out ignore you. Now if you do something to hurt her or her friends be ready for the heat. She will track you down like a hunter to its prey and give you a piece of her mind. Once she shoved a kid’s head down a toilet and that’s exactly where the teachers found him the next day. Don’t worry he was still alive and to add to that he never bothered Kristil again.
History:
It was a day to remember, and one family would never forget it. It was March first 2003 and it was snowing. To some this was normal but in Arkansas (a state in the United States.) this was quit odd. The Brockway were planning on having their baby boy several weeks ago and Mrs. Brockway was getting very anxious. As the snow began to fall to the ground like the leaves on the trees in fall, her water broke. Mr. Brockway rushed his wife to the hospital despite the upcoming storm. He drove through weather that he had never seen before in the state but he was a determined husband and his wife was in labor. 5 miles away from the hospital the snow began to fall into a blizzard format. The scenery around them began to be just a white sky that no one could have seen through. In that instant he did something that shocked his wife as she sat up in the back seat. He pulled out what seemed to be a stick. Mrs. Brockway tilted her head thinking that her husband had gone mad, for he was chanting something and waving the stick around like a fool. When she reached forward to touch him the stick began to glow from the end and a light sent her backward and blinded her. When she awoke she was in a wheelchair in the hospital.
Dr. Hoover was picking up speed as he came down the hallway to meet the Brockways. He directed them to the right room and got Mrs. Brockway out of the chair and into the bed. Before she knew it she was pushing harder than she ever had before. Her shrikes of pain echoed throughout the hospital and worried many. Some thought that the baby was going to kill her. Sweat dripped down her cranium as she was directed to push harder and harder. When the baby began to crown she started to blackout but she kept pushing until the words, ”It’s out!” rang through the air. Then she passed out like a lamp being turned off. As she awoke the nurse was cleaning off her baby and handing it to her. The sentence that she will always remember is, “Here you are Mrs. Brockway a beautiful baby… girl. What will you name her?” Mrs. Brockway responded, “Kristil.”
So Kristil Rae Brockway was born on a snowy March first 8lbs 11onces. It wasn’t the first odd thing to happen with this young witch though. As Kristil grew older she began to have a fascination with animals. Now this is normal for most young children but running away to be with the wolves isn’t. At the age of four Kristil ran away from home at 2pm on a Saturday. Her mother called the police and fire department to help find her. They searched for 2 weeks thinking that little Kristil was dead. Then on a Sunday afternoon, 3:46:01pm a white wolf walked up to the house. Mrs. Brockway looked at the wolf as her husband grabbed the rifle. Just when he was going to take a shot she pushed the gun away and stepped outside. Immediately the wolf ran into the neighbors’ yards to the woods. Mrs. Brockway followed the fae her eyes filling with tears as she saw her baby girl sleeping beside a black wolf covered by his tail. The white wolf shifted forms into a human. Mrs. Brockway’s eyes widened as she spoke to her. “Do not worry your daughter is fine. Take her home now.” Of course Mrs. Brockway thought that she had gone crazy but the proof of her daughter held tightly in her arms was there plain and simple.
When Kristil became 11 a letter came in through the window of all things. She opened it and read it allowed to her parents. It said that she was accepted to Glordina a school for witch craft and wizardry. To her surprise the only one shocked in the room was her mother. As her mother turned to look at her father he opened his mouth and said he needed to tell them something. He told them of his family, whom she and her mother had never seen before. He told them of his days at Hogwarts and how he and the rest of his family were witches and wizards. Kristil was the only one who thought that is was cool. Her mother was in complete shock for a month before accepting it. In the end the love she had for Richard was too great to be diminished by one secret.
Kristil became the best witch in her class, always getting the top score, always being on time, and always having her nose in a book. Well she was picked on for it. She was called book worm and teachers pet through out the first few years. Granted she did have some friends but they were also out casts. After her Second year something snapped inside of her, like a twig breaking beneath your feet. She became mean and aggressive. Kristil wasn’t the caring little girl anymore, she had changed. Yes her grades stayed the same but her punctuality changed and so did her friends. She got involved with quidditch, and left her other friends behind. The only thing that really stayed the same was her love for animals. She cut class just to go play with the hatching dragons, and feed the young ones. It was a passion that never left her.
Towards the end of her fourth year her father made an announcement that they would be moving to the UK. Since Kristil had finally made some good friends she didn’t want to move but she had no choice in the matter. She screamed and kicked the whole way but it still happened. She moved. Her father sent in her transfer papers to Hogwarts and got her accepted in. The train ride was a bust but she made it to the school without a scratch on her. Looking up to the school all she could do was sigh and accept the fact that this was her home for the school year whether she liked it or not.
