The day had been a long one. The train itself was pretty lonely, the compartments were completely empty and the lady with the cart didn’t come around until three hours into his trip. Cruz lugged his bag through the rain, to the carriage, onto the carriage, out of the carriage, through the mud, to the head mistresses’ office, up to the seventh floor, and to his dorm.
Now, as he trudged up the last flight of stairs into the boy’s dorms he couldn’t help but give a smile of relief. His room was the first dorm on the right down the long hallway. Crashing into the dorm he looked into the empty room. There were four four-poster beds with three trunks in front of the first three. He had three roommates, obviously, and they were nowhere to be seen.
Well, that was all fine for Cruz, who wanted to get atleast a little rest, before dinner in the Great Hall. He dumped his trunk in front of his very own four-poster and took a seat, head in hands, trying to get all his thoughts together. Letting out a yawn he fell back onto the bed, pulling the covers over him. His eyes slammed shut.
