Serdic was born one fateful day as the only son of Tyrion and Silvia Sanganius. His relationship with his father was always going to be a rough one, due to his arrogance and annoyance at the world, but over time he adapted – indeed, by the time his father passed away when he was 15, he was practically his clone. Both his parents lived off his granddads sheer fortune, one that, while never explained, always kept them going. His only other blood relative was Ria, his cousin from the orphanage (who his parents refused to take in) who, along with the whole building, randomly vanished one day. His parents and him don’t know why, nor do they care. When his father died of eating gillyweed where there was no water (while very drunk) he felt little emotion, he saw the loss as a minor distraction. Since the death of his father, his mother has been extreme in her overprotection of her ‘poor son’ but as dementia slowly takes her, he knows that soon, the world is his apple and he will be on his own throne.

Personality:
The way he was brought up was that he was pure blood thus superior, this taught by his father, but as his father was the head of the house was the most superior of all. Now that his father has passed away, he feels that he has replaced his father as the most superior. His views are incredibly right wing, believing that the ‘upper, pure blood classes’ are ‘obviously superior’ (think British in India in 1900’s). His snobbery has gotten him ill looks a few times, but in a fight he holds the stiff ‘British upper lip’ (and attempt to feebly bash them over the head with his cane, of course).
People look at him with disdain, but they seem to accept him as another nutcase. He has a habit of talking to ghosts (including once drunkenly attempting to chat up one) and his attempt to use his cane as a wand hasn’t gone down to well with the staff. Either way, he wears his hat everywhere, keeping his wand in a small compartment built within it sometimes, just for added effect. He says he despises moustaches, but secretly wants one. His dream is to live in China, for no other reason that he sees the Chinese as his slaves. His parents taught him well.
His wacky and stuck up persona has made most people see him as a joke, but he doesn’t care. He walks likes he’s a mission, and knows what he likes and doesn’t. Opinionated and outspoken if you will. Talks with a posh accent, and particularly enjoys the word 'super'. His pure blood have made the Slytherin crowd not harass him much out of principle, but the rest of the school don’t see him as much of a threat. He sees himself as a man on a mission, and ever since his fathers death he has vowed to complete it. His other hobbies include smoking cigars at random occasions, tap dancing and the occasional duel, though he has yet to take part in one sadly. He is sure he would win without a problem. His family blood shows him this. Of course, right?
History:
When his father randomly decided to move to England when he was 3 because ‘they get more respect then these damn Germans’ (his fathers French originally, but shhh know one knows, and before his death he destroyed all the evidence in a 'bonfire'). London was the obvious choice. Instead he went to a little village called ‘Terracedale’ No idea why, but his father liked it, bought the biggest house, doubled it in size, again, again, and then again and then sold it and moved elsewhere. His father never gave him a reason. Hogwarts was the only half decent school anywhere in the vicinity, so that’s why his father decided to send his son there so that he could find himself a good pure blood wife, and a good half-blood slave to cater for his very needs (cause that’s just how his father was, very into bdsm, denied it always of course...)
As a child, his parents looked him after (sadly). Their only servants were humans, in which his father imported illegally from the Ukraine, Romania and India to ‘look after’ his family. There where 7 in total, each one female. Bizarrely, Serdic never saw much of them, due to his mother looking after him most of the time, and his fathers random ‘sit on my lap and hear me rant’ armchair sessions (occurred once a week, every Friday till he was 14). He had his first taste of whiskey aged 9, and has secretly been drinking it ever since. It makes him feel ‘special’.
When he first got to Hogwarts, he was very confused by the odd looks people gave him, and random beatings he received for how he looked (being brought up as British, they just beat him and beat him, and his never-breaking-attitude to crying ended up scaring the bullies to much, who started to flee at the sight of him). His main friends are the ghosts and his buddy Melissa, who is Welsh and thus everyone hates her naturally. Like two peas in a pod, due to her being short, stubby and blond, they make an odd couple of friends.
He can’t conjure a patronus to save his life. He gets a A average on everything expect on ‘The care and study of magical creatures’ where he gets a E, due to reasons he personally cannot work out. In class he’s outspoken but ‘misunderstood’ and doesn’t get why everyone doesn’t bow down to him. It often confuses him a lot. He ends up blaming everybody but himself, and is known for saying ‘golly and ‘gosh darn it’ far, far to often. He is far to polite and always shocked and outraged when someone speaks up to him, or acts rude, and goes red every time someone of the opposite sex (bar Melissa) talks to him. He thinks of Melissa as a man. There. I said it.
He gets daily letters from his mother, asking him ‘how he is, how his food is, blablabla’, they seem to make him feel more like a child. Secretly, he enjoys them, but hates himself for it, constantly reading them before he goes to sleep. His aim in Hogwarts is his belief that there are really five houses, and the other one is just a major secret, for the ‘chosen few’. This was one of his father’s mad beliefs, and he’s inherited it. This was another reason why his father wanted him to go to Hogwarts, to finally prove him right and let him take his place as the master of the fifth ‘superior British’ house. Even after his death, he is determined to find it. He keeps this to himself, but he’s sure his staff is the key somehow. He daydreams about this often. Sadly, he seems to be quite insane but it’s no ones business but his. He’s quite harmless, really.
