A slow sensation of awakening from a long nap crept across Silren’s senses. An odd feeling of reconnection to what seemed infinite weighed on her conscious. She was lying there… in the dark or at least it was until her eyelids decided to try to open. Light forcefully squeezed in and she quickly closed her eyes again. It was a few more moments of sensual recollection before she tried to see once more. As time passed Silren felt increasingly warm until it seemed as if something was burning through her skull. Her brain, overloading with sensation, shot her eyes open and light swallowed her visual world. The light seemed to fade parallel with decreasing sensations until she could almost say she was normal.
Her mind sluggish, Silren wondered, “Where am I?...” Rolling her head to one side she found herself horizontal in front of a large mirror… where she was floating above a bed! The instant she saw herself an ethereal essence pulled her back to the bed below with an intense force and she blacked out for a moment. In the next instant Silren heard a voice calling for someone else and a short while later another voice or two but her conscious quickly fell out again. As she faded back asleep she began to wonder if the eyes in the mirror were truly hers… or not.
[Closed except for Kerridon until further notice.]

Kerridon didn't know what was the matter with Silren. All he knew was that she was in the Hospital Wing, and she was the closest thing he still had to his sister. When she hadn't turned up for class he had assumed she was just skipping; it seemed like the kind of thing that she might do if she thought that particular class was beneath her and not worth attending. Then he had started hearing rumours that she was ill or injured – nothing particularly loud or exciting, just innocuous chatter mostly from the Slytherin table in the Great Hall. With the Ravenclaw table right alongside it, it was easy enough to hear what was being said on there when he went later on in meal times when it was quieter.
After hearing today at breakfast that she was in the hospital wing, Kerridon decided not to wait any longer. Rather than go to his next class he instead walked up the stairs from the Great Hall to the first floor, the bag containing all his books over his shoulder. He pushed the door open to the hospital wing, seeing that the nurse wasn't there – or was in the office that the door at the back of the room led to. Either way, it made it easier for him. He didn't want to be shooed off to classes. He headed straight to the bed about halfway down the room that had a curtain around one side. As he got closer he recognised the girl in it as Silren, apparently sleeping.
He sat down at the chair next to her bed, reaching out a hand and placing it gently on the arm resting nearest to him. [blue]"Silren,"[/blue] he whispers, shaking her arm slightly. [blue]"Wake up,"[/blue] he murmurs quietly, not wanting to attract the attention of the nurse.
