Caira sat in her office working away. She had never imagined just how much paperwork went along with managing a school like Hogwart's. Even the International Council doesn't use this much paper! She thought to herself.
She looked up from her desk occassionally, as though she were expecting someone to arrive at any moment. One thing she appreciated about Hogwart's was that, for the most part, she was able to work without interruption. She remembered days in Isaac's office when she had first begun working... times when there was an interruption nearly every five minutes. That had changed a bit as she had moved up through the ranks. But even as a diplomat, she often found her concentration and peace shattered by one crisis or another.
As he door opened, she looked up with a warm smile. "Hi Mordred. I hear you have news for me?" she questioned, her eyes sparkling brightly.

"You hear? Word gets around faster than I thought...." Mordred trailed off as he walked to one of the seats sitting in front of the Headmistress's desk. This place had changed since he had last been here years ago. He faced Caira and smiled politely. "It's very nice to see you again Caira. I'm sure you've guessed or heard of the reason for my visit. Most of the student body has already heard rumors." The smile left his face and his expression became more serious. "Dementors are gathering in the forest. I've been attacked by them and a few of the students have as well. These Dementors aren't acting like themselves, It think they may be answering to a higher power, someone who they praise above all others."
Mordred stopped, he didn't know if he should tell her more of if he should shut his mouth now. After debating, he found it best to tell her some, but not all. "I've done some studying over the past few years and I discovered that Voldemort himself was answering to a higher power! The great and powerful wizard... he answered to someone even more sinister than himself!" Mordred stopped for a breath and began talking again. "He answered to the Shadow Mage, I'm sure you've heard of the shadows from these so called crazy wizards but it's true! She does exist and she is on the move. She is looking for the warriors and we need to stop her. I think she is gathering her Shadow's in the forest, I fear she may suspect some of the students to be warriors!"
"We need to act fast, I and a few other Professors have put up protection spells around Hogwarts, that will keep the shadows from getting to close, but if the mage ever shows, these barriers will not stop her..."

Caira listened, leaning forward slightly. When Mordred had finished she nodded. "Yes, when I heard the rumors, I thought that might perhaps be the case. Do you really think we might have Shadow Warriors at this school?" she asked, her eyes widening slightly. "I read some about Shadow Warriors in my previous position... well, about the Shadow Realm in general, really. It's all so fantastic."
She settled back in her chair and offered another warm smile. "If you really think dementors and creatures from the Shadow Realm are gathering in the forest, we must act quickly." She stood and paced. "We'll need to train the students to defend themselves... we need to find the Shadow Warriors. They're the ones who can help us; they can defeat creatures from the Shadow Realm according to my reading." She tilted her head slightly and looked back at Mordred. "Do you really think we might actually have Shadow Warriors here? Now?"

Mordred eyed her cautiously as she stood up and paced. She was very interested in this sort of thing and she didn't mind showing that. It was more of an obsession really, she seemed like one of the crazy people that you hear about getting put into St. Mungos. Mordred, realizing this, took a step back wards.
"Um, actually no, I don't think their is any Warriors in this school. That is an absurd idea, students being warriors!" Mordred gave a fake laugh, trying not to let her notice. "And as for the gathering an Army, I've already started that. Though I must admit, my intent was not to find Shadow Warriors but to train them to fight these things. It's best if we do this without the ministry knowing... So don't let to many people know about the D.A. alright?" Mordred bowed to Caira as he walked out of the room, a bit confused of what had just taken place. The mention of Shadow Warriors to Caira made her seem.... funny.... Mordred rushed down the spiral staircase and back into the corridor.

Caira watched after Mordred as he hurried from the room. Surely he understood her concern for the safety of the students? After several moments, she realized how tightly she was wound... she had quite obviously confused him with her body language. Where she had meant to project concern, he had apparently seen interestest... even fascination.
She returned to her paperwork, pushing the matter aside for now. There would be much time soon enough to deal with the issue of Shadows and Shadow Warriors. With an odd look on her face, she returned to her paperwork. That, after all, had a deadline. Life had so many deadlines. She looked up and laughed a bit, the sound like the tinkling of a bell. "Laughter chases away the heebie jeebies, " she said aloud to no one in particular.
