Caira looked up from her paperwork and offered him a smile. "Please Kono, have a seat. And, just Caira if you don't mind... I've never been much of one for using titles instead of names." She stirred her tea and, with a flick of her wand, sent the other cup towards him. "Please, sit with me for a moment, have a bit of tea. I know this past week must have been really difficult for you," she began, her voice warm with concern.
She took a sip of her tea and looked up at him again. "I know it might not be the easiest time, but I need to talk to you about D'rorah. I'm talking to anyone who might have known her because... well... after she finally returned the other night, she has gone missing from the infirmary now. We've already started trying to find her, but I'm hoping any information I can find about her or her friends will be helpful in figuring out where she might be." She tilted her head. "Please, she's in desperate need of medical attention... anything at all, even if it doesn't seem important, might be helpful."
She waited for an answer, silently sipping her tea.

Kono was startling when he was scolding a bit for using her title. "Er... sorry He- Caira. Uhm no thank you. I'm more a fan of pumpkin juice." Then when he realized why he had been called for the meeting he thought back with all the instances he had seen and spke with D'rorah. Including their last encounter. Their last meeting! During their last meeting professor Albion had suggested that the headmistress may not be trustable. Alessandro and Wysteria had done nothing to turn him away from that thought. Kono then decided that any events in which he had seen D'rorah inside the Room of Requirement or fighting shadows were to be excluded. Then he remembered his run in with her, Soldier, and Spade in the alley but decided against revealing it as it may rat out his one strongest ally at this point in the group.
"Well professor I didn't really know her that well... She was a 7th year and I'm a 5th so we didn't have too many classes together until just this year. Plus she's a Ravenclaw. I suppose I saw her around occasionally when I would hang out with Yumi or Mira's older brother. They are both Ravenclaws but I never really paid her much mind... I think I remember yumi saying something about an arithmancy class with Dien. Apparently Dee had an incorrect answer while teaching one of the younger years how to do the assignment... but I suppose that doesn't help you much does it... Sorry I couldn't be of more help." Kono decided that it may be incredibly obvious that he was holding back information he he stood up to leave immediately so he remained seated and waited to be excused.

Caira nodded, peering at him thoughtfully. "Alright... I just thought it would be best to find her as quickly as possible." She exhaled deeply and stood up to stretch. "You know, I've asked several people from your group and no one seems willing to help me find her. It's sad to think that none of you really care about your friend." She shook her head slightly. "Of course, from what I understand, D'rorah doesn't really have friends... she's a bit of a loner. I suppose that's why no one really cares too much about finding her."
She was laying on the guilt a bit thickly. "I just know the longer I sit in this office and don't hear anything helpful, the longer she spends out there... in desperate need of medical attention that she isn't receiving. I only hope it isn't too late already." She smiled and looked up at Kono. "Sorry, I don't know why I went off on that little tangent. Please, feel free to leave if you wish... unless you've thought of anything else that you'd like to tell me," she added, waiting to see whether he would simply leave or would mention something, anything that might be helpful.

Kono stood up to leave but before he did he turned and said, "Sorry Headm- er... I mean Caira I truely didn't know her that well. I wish I could be of more help." He then walked out of the office and down the steps past the gargoyle and down numerous corridors and hallways in case he was being followed.

Caira returned her attention to her paperwork, not intending to see any more students that day. She was rewarded with news of D'rorah's return not too long afterwards. With a gleam of triumph in her eyes, she waited a bit, wanting her quarry to be settled in before she approached her. She would give D'rorah time to work out the events of the past few days before she came in this time. She had a feeling the girl would trust her after having tended to her wounds that night she had returned from the Shadow Realm.
