[glow=red,2,300]"Um what page do we need to be on?"[/glow]
Gat leaned over to her and quietly said.
"25." He then turned to his gravy boat and gave his wand a the jab, small twirl, , then the slight flick. Suddenly, the gravy boat transfigured into a yellow fish. It flopped around on the table a few times and then died. Gat blushed with embarrassment at that happening. He then waved his wand around the fish saying "pink" softly, the fish turned a deep red. Gat hit the desk with frustration. 'How do I do this.' He shouted in his head. He could not work it out. He looked around and nearly everyone at least had a bird. How did he get a red fish.

She wander how He had manged that. She looked away trying to keep from Laughing at the fact that Gat face was almost as red as the fish. She took her wand and waved it around the fish saying, "Slytherin Green." It turned this Light Neon green and then Turned Bight Neon Pink. Ariana Broke out laughing and Fell over on to the floor with tears running down her face.

Susan turned quickly to the correct page in her transfiguration book. She skimmed over the directions, listening more to the Professor than anything. Susan looked around to see the majority of the class succeeding in turning their gravy boats into birds. Susan huffed, nervously. She gripped her wand tightly and began the correct wand movements. "A small twirl, the jab, then the slight flick."
Susan's gravy boat sprouted wings. It was a start, Susan figured. She tried the wand movements again, this time more precisely. Her gravy boat had successfully transformed into a bird. While the bird still had the overall shape of a gravy boat, it was a bird, nonetheless. Overjoyed that her bird was in fact, a bird, Susan decided to change it's color.
She circled the bird as instructed and said, "Yellow." Susan watched her bird change to a bright canary yellow. Susan laughed as her yellow bird struggled to fly. Its wings were remarkably smaller than the rest of its gravy-boat-shaped body. Susan eagerly, picked up her bird and held it, stroking it calmly.
She looked over to Gat, who seemed to be have trouble with his gravy-boat. She laughed quietly. He seemed very angry, and didn't want to get on his bad side. He was however, rather funny to see a neon pink fish flopping around on his desk.

Gat watched as Ariana attempted to turn his dead red fish green. It flashed green and turned pink. Gat burst out laughing; as he could no longer hold it in. He hardly noticed that Ariana was laughing as well. Everyone else had seemed to actually make a bird. Gat slowly calmed down. He was slightly embarrassed at his loud outburst at the back of the class.
“Excuse me Professor, do you happen to have another gravy boat?” He asked the Professor politely. A wide smile was still on his face. His now pink fish had stopped jumping on impulse. Gat now started to twirl his curly hair around his finger observing the people watching him. He took his fish to the window and used the banishing charm on his fish to send it to the lake before once again taking his seat.

Sarah turned around from the table where she was helping someone hold their wand properly. "A new gravy boat? What happened to the one I gave you?" After hearing his reasons, she smiled and walked over to the cabinet. She vaguely remembered her times in Transfiguration. True, she did quite well in it, but she still had her moments. Grabbing another gravy boat, she walked over to Gat and placed it infront of him. "You know," She said loudly so the class could hear, "During my Third year, we were transfiguring a stones into turtles. Needless to say, I wasn't paying much attention that day because I thought I already knew how to do that. Well, let's just say my little wart hog didn't go over well with the teacher. For those of you who are having trouble, my advice: relax, take a deep breath, and focus." She walked back towards the front of the room commenting on some of the student's work. When she got to the front she looked at the hour-glass on her desk. "Ah," She waved her wand and the birds, gravy-boats, and brid/gravy-boat hybrids disappeared. "Class, class is dismissed, but for your homework, write a half foot parchment on the importance of concentration while performing transfiguration spells, and another half foot of the importance of wand technique. I'll see you guys later."

Looking around at the sound of a disturbance in the form of squawking, he saw a disorientated looking bird in front of Xiulin that was rapidly changing colours. He then saw a dead, pink fish before Gat and Ariana and had to repress the urge to laugh as he turned back around to look at his little blue bird. Smiling at the little creature, it returned his friendly gesture with a content little chirp and hopped onto his arm.
Looking up as the teacher announced the dismissal of class, he felt a light sensation travelling up his arm and smiled down at what had previously been a gravy boat. Noting down his homework quickly, he packed up his things as his bird disappeared along with everyone else's. His satchel over one shoulder he smiled at Dee as he left the room, intent on training for his Quidditch tryouts in only a few moments.

Katherine watched as the perfectly red cardinal she had transfigured only moments ago, disappear. She was slightly disappointed. She'd never had a pet and had hoped she could have kept it. Well it was too late now. Katherine wrote down the homework on her scratch parchment. Six inches on concentration and six inches on wand movements. She would most likely have it done by tonight. Katherine liked to get a head in her work.
Katherine watched as the rest of the students packed up their things to leave. Katherine wasn't ready to leave yet. It seemed as if class had only just begun. She more more than eager for the next class to come around.

D'rorah had kept her attention purposefully focused on the small sparrow in her hand, making a point to ignore Gat's ineptitude. She knew that, should she pay any notice to it whatsoever, she would likely say something which would only land her in trouble with the professor. Pushing her loathing for the despicable young man aside, she ran a finger softly along the sparrow's feather, listening as it sang up at her. She did, however, look up as Gat's fish flopped and died on the desk, thinking to herself it was somewhat appropriate that even in making a simple mistake, he caused pain and destruction.
D'rorah's eyebrows lifted as the bird disappeared with one last twitter and she turned her attention to gathering her things, making note of the homework assignment in her notebook. Returning Dylan's smile with a slight upturning of the corners of her mouth, she gathered her things neatly. "Good day, Professor Spencer," she bid as she made her way out into the corridor to wait for Keaira. She was curious to see what exactly she wished to discuss, but thought perhaps it would have something to do with her upcoming training in China.

Aw, her bird had gone, that fun fish was gone too, and Ariana hadn't said hello.
Thoroughly disgruntled, she stuffed her things into her bag and prepared to leave the classroom. Or, seemed prepared to leave the classroom.
She was ambivalent. To leave, or not to leave? Excuse the cliche and our deepest apologies to Hamlet for ruining his soliloquy. She decided not to leave. Instead, she stood beside the door, bag slung over her shoulders and arms crossed over her chest, as she tapped her foot impatiently, waiting for Ariana.
She did not like being ignored.

Susan gasped suddenly when her yellow gravy boat-esque bird disappeared. She had become quite attracted to the pudgy little thing. Either way, she could never have kept it. She probably would have set it free in the end only to watch it die because it could not fly more than a foot off the ground. Susan shrugged after the realization and made a note of the homework. Not looking forward to the essays, she packed up her things, mentally making room for study time.
With all her things together, she said good bye to the professor and promptly left.

Ariana Got off the ground and put what little Stuff she had gotten out away. She looked at Gat and Smiled before getting up. She walked over to Xiulin and Said, "Hey Xiulin Sorry I didn't say Hi before but as you could see I was late for class. Want to hang out this coming Hogsmead weekend?" Ariana Added a Smile at the end then add, "I'll take you out to lunch, My treat okay" Ariana looked back over at Gat before waving and Stepping out the Door waiting for Them both to fallow. She Didn't mind being nice to a 4th year Gryffindor as for Gat well he was her friend and a Fellow House mate. She had just Put her bag over her shoulder when...

((sorry I've been really busy))
It seemed odd to Keaira that so many people had issues with transfiguration. To her it seemed to come as naturally as breathing and walking… or as naturally as some of her other talents. After reading the spell information on the page, noting the movements and the desired effects she smiled. After all if she could turn Alessandro in to a mouse surely she could turn a gravy boat in to a bird. As she read the page she noted that they didn’t mention an incantation for this particular spell. SO therefore it was mostly a spell based on willing the desired effects.
She looked at all the details on her gravy boat, it was actually pretty. As she focused she thought of a bird, one that would compliment the nice detailing the gravy boat had. With her mind still locked on to the transfiguration she began the wand movements, making sure that she had done it as the book had stated. As she did the final swish she smiled, her gravy boat was quite lovely, and had turned in to a very lovely bird. With a smile, she noted that her robin was still the same silver and black as her gravy boat, something that didn’t quite fit. So she flicked her wand and muttered a quick ‘red’, and watched as the silver began to fade, and change to a deep crimson.
With her transfiguration done, Keaira had moved on to other things, her mind in her plans, and her thoughts off in China. Soon all her plans would come in to fruition and she would be off for training… As the teacher announced their leave she gathered her things, and headed for the door. After reaching the corridor, it took Keaira mere seconds to reach where D’rorah stood. She tried not to rush, so she wouldn’t look out of place.
“Dee, I was wondering if you could let me copy your Arithmancy notes for the last class, I wasn’t feeling well, and Professor Serlaen excused me from the lesson, but I don’t wish to fall behind.”
Keaira knew that it was a complete lie, but it would work well enough to keep any suspicions away. After all any one in the class would know she wasn’t there that day, and any one who knew Dee, knew she was great for notes. All that aside Keaira felt that D’rorah knew why she wanted to speak with her.

D'rorah nodded, "Certainly, Miss O'Connell." She knew what Keaira wished to talk about and that it had absolutely nothing to do with arithmancy notes. She also knew that it was as good a cover story as any. She reached into her satchel and found a small packet of notes.
"Ah, here we are, Miss O'Connell," she remarked. "As long as I am allowing you to use my own notes, I wonder if I might enlist your help with this Latin translation. My Latin is not as good as it should be," she added, lying easily. It was a language she spoke and read fluently, though not many would know that. She took another packet from her pocket, this one written in D'rorah's own handwriting in Latin and handed it to Keaira. "I believe you may find this rather interested in your studies."
She began walking down the hallway, waiting for Keaira to fall in step beside her and begin thinking whatever questions she might have about her upcoming trip. That would seem to be the simplest way to begin.

Keaira nodded as D’rorah had agreed to the cover story. A small smile pierced her lips as D’rorah handed her a letter written in Latin. It was fairly uncommon knowledge that Keaira herself could read, and write Latin decently enough, which is why it seemed like the best way to talk about the upcoming events.
“I’m sure that given the proper resources I can help you translate this, do you have a preferred location for us to work on it?”
As Keaira spoke she read over the note, quickly translating the words she knew in to English to gleam the general message that D’rorah had written. She began to follow D’rorah, knowing that they would need to find a secure location for the conversation they were about to have.

D'rorah didn't speak as they walked, anyone who knew her wouldn't find this particularly odd, as she wasn't a very social person. In fact, it likely would have drawn far more attention to hear her engaged in idle conversation, so she refrained. The Latin she had given Keaira would have quite a bit of information about what to expect in China anyway, so she simply allowed her to read it without interruption as they walked. It took her a while to decide on a destination, but really the only place to go for any sort of privacy around Hogwart's--especially for matters involving Elemental Masters and Shadow Warriors--was the Room of Requirement. She quickly led the way up five flights of stairs, as though merely headed to the common room to gather her notes. However, when they reached the fourth floor she continued going up, seeing that no one was paying attention to their movements anyway. She walked past the hallway on the sixth floor the requisite three times, waiting for the door to emerge. When it did, she found a comfortable sitting room. And, as they required privacy, the room had been certain to see to that by leaving no windows and no other entrances through which people might enter to disturb them. D'rorah took a seat in a wingback chair situated across from another wingback chair and waited for Keaira's questions to begin. She was fairly certain she would have rather a lot of them.
