D'rorah could feel the waves of excitement radiating from Aiden almost tangibly. She was pleased to have provided him with a wand he would appreciate and watched as he cast the 'orchideous', a smile creeping across her face. His delight was nearly infectious. And she was intrigued when he mentioned that he had dealt with dueling magic and horcruxes... she quite thought it would be rather interesting to see his notes sometime.
When he turned back and asked if she had studied Dark Magic, it took her only a moment to decide that he would be safe to discuss her studies with... indeed, she thought he might even prove to have some useful insights to the work she had begun... and that perhaps she, in return, might be able to offer some useful insights on the work he had done as well.
As she began to answer, she noticed his appearance more fully. He looked like the sort who might have come from a well-respected family... one who would be versed in the formalities she herself had grown up observing. And there was something quite intriguing about his eyes...
"I have studied Dark Magic extensively," she replied. "At the moment, I am particularly focusing on Unforgivable Curses and am working to develop a method of defense against them. I am currently deeply enmeshed in unraveling the theory and origins of the curses." She allowed herself to smile a bit more, though she was internally mystified as to why. "Typically people are... less than supportive when I expound upon my experience with Dark Magic. It is refreshing to find someone who shares a common interest... and who shares a common reasoning behind that interest, I believe."

Dien walked in through the wall, and proceeded to look around at the shop before noticing the boy talking to the shop owner. He smiled. "Shall I, ah, wait for you two to finish? I'll see you later in the year anyway, but..." he raised his hands, "I seem to not have a wand for the purpose of instructing you." He smiled and walked over, handing the owner his card (temporarily interrupting the conversation), and sat down on a stool, further taking in his current environment.
The card read: Name: Dien Fiette Serlaen Preferred Wand Length: 16 3/4" About: This year I will be teaching Arithmancy. As you've probably been able to tell by now, I'm dead. A ghost. The man who killed me, though, has already been detained indefinitely in Azkaban. I don't really know what else I can tell you, though. I'd prefer a wand that I can use to preform good defensive, mainly, but also offensive magic, without fail. At all. I don't want to look like an idiot in front of my students, now, do I?

D'rorah smiled at the new customer and read over the card her presented before turning her attention to Aiden briefly. "Well Mister Christian, it appears you have a wand to suit you. Have a nice afternoon." She heard the bell jingle as he departed the store. (Note: normally, I would never god mod another player's character, but I've been waiting for a response here for nearly a month Aiden, so off you go!)
"So, Professeur Serlaen," she remarked, pronouncing his name with a flawless French accent, "I believe I have just the wand you seek." She smiled again before disappearing underneath the counter, rummaging through a stack of boxes at her feet. After a few moments, she reappeared holding a slender box. "Yes, this should do quite nicely. It is 16 3/4 inch poplar wood with a core of thestral hair. It should serve quite well for both offensive and defensive magic." She eased the cover from the box and set it on the counter in front of him. "Please do try it," she remarked. "I believe I shall be taking Arithmancy this year, so we shall certainly see one another again."

(Well, it actually seems to be exactly a month. July 6th to August 6th.. Wot Wot!) "Yes, we shall. No need to tell me your name now, I'll have to learn that in class..." Dien looked down at the wand. "Perfect," he whispered. "It looks like Ollivander himself made it..." He looked back up at the owner, a quizzical look on his face. He became slightly more transparent, then came back. He shook his head. "Well, did he?" he smiled.

"Oh, my apologies Professor," replied D'rorah. "My name is D'rorah Philosophy. It is a pleasure to meet you. Typically I would not be so rude as to fail to introduce myself." She smiled a bit and looked at the wand he held. "I am not certain if the wand was actually constructed by Mister Ollivander or not. I am merely assisting temporarily while the true owner of the shop is away. I have never met the true owner. I am here at Professor Kade's request. He agreed to keep watch over the shop and asked that I attend to it during business hours... at least, until classes begin, that is."

"Ah. Well, best of luck, D'rorah," Professor Dien said, strolling out the door of the shop, the bell above the door staying still. He sighed, and looked around. He suddenly, with a snap, disapparated (SP?). He appeared a few moments later in Hogsmeade, and took a walk to the castle, admiring his new wand...

Alessandro Darko
He made his way through Diagon Alley. He chuckled to himself as he said the name under his breath quickly. "Sounds like diagonally...." He smiled. He neared upon Ollivanders and stepped inside the dusty shop. It had been years since he had been in there, he was 11 and received his first wand. It was exactly 12 inches, yew, with a unicorn hair core. Unfortunately he had just recently lost his wand to an accident involving the word confringo by his friend Jonas, who had hap-hazardly cast the jinx and it ricocheted off the target and exploded his wand.
He approached the shopkeeper with the piece of paper describing the wand he desired in his hand. He hoped that this time, he'd get a more durable model.
"E-Excuse me? I am in need of a wand....here." He set the paper on the counter. It read:
Name: Alessandro Orion Darko Preferred Wand Length: 10 and 3/4 About: I am in need of a durable wand, yet elegant. I am getting high marks in charms and am in the advanced transfiguration class. I'll most likely need a wand that will cast good offensive and defensive magic concerning the dark arts, which I am quickly taking an interest in. If possible...something that can resist the confringo jinx.

D'rorah plucked the piece of paper from the counter-top and scanned it quickly. Her eyes flicked from the paper, to Alessandro, and then back to the paper again. "Mister Darko...." she said his name slowly as she thought over his request. Several moments passed before she spoke again. "Ah yes, I believe I have something that may work well for you after all."
Without a further word or any explanation, she disappeared into the back of the store and began shifting through the piles of boxes. The sound of a cascade of boxes could be heard from the back, followed by a few choice words. After a few more minutes, she returned to the font of the store. "Here we are Mister Darko. 10 3/4 inches Sycamore with a core of demiguise hair. I believe this will serve your purposes well. The core is excellent for transfiguration and defense while the wood itself is adept with darker magic. Sycamore is also a rather sturdy wood."
She prised the lid from the box and placed the open box on the counter before him. The wood had been stained a dark color and was rather slender, a faint spiral carving wrapping around it. "Please, do test it out. We would not wish to sell you an inappropriate wand."

Alessandro gazed upon the innate beauty of the wand.
"Its...its...." He couldn't finish the sentence as he was enraptured in its design. His old yew wand didn't have a design like that. The shaft was smooth and the overall look of it kinda seemed like it should have been classified as "Beginner".
He reached a trembling hand out for the wand. He picked it up gently in his right hand, his wand hand. He felt a surge of energy rush through his body. It resembled a similar feeling like when your foot falls asleep, but less annoying, more likeable.
He swished the wand through the air. It made a beautiful noise as it cut through the air. He pointed his wand at the bell on the counter.
Reducio! He said firmly. The bell shrank quickly to the size of a quarter. Alessandro looked up at the girl who handed him the wand.
"Thank you so much. This will do nicely!" He gave her a warm smile before pointing his wand back at the bell and saying Engorgio! causing the bell to return to normal.
"You're a Ravenclaw, aren't you? I've seen you in school. You work here on the side?" He asked her curiously.

D'rorah watched as Alessandro tested his new wand. "Oh good. I am glad you are pleased with it," she replied. She smiled politely and nodded at his question. "Yes, I am in Ravenclaw. I am minding the shop at Professor Kade's request. I suppose you could consider it a side job," she added, her brow furrowing slightly. "Yes... I remember you now. You specialize in transfiguration, correct?" She looked up, realizing she should finish the sale.
"Would you like for the wand to be boxed and wrapped? Or would you merely prefer to carry it out? You have come at an opportune time; it is actually available for free."

Alessandro's jaw dropped.
"What? Free! Wicked!" He shouted. "Yeah I'll carry it out...but I'll also take the box. I..." He gave a weak laugh. "I'm a sentimentalist. I have to keep everything that marks big changes in my life." He shrugged. He looked the girl up and down. He had known he had seen her in the castle before, just couldn't put his finger on which class or where. It was probably the common room, since they were both in the same house.
He put the wand box in his sidebag along with the wand as well.
"Well, I'll be seein' ya." Alessandro waved gratefully. "What did you say your name was?" He asked her.

"Oh, my name is D'rorah Philosophy," she replied, offering another polite smile. "It was a pleasure to finally meet you, Mister Darko. I do hope you will enjoy your new acquisition." She waved back and returned her attention to the storeroom in the back. She had managed to make quite a mess back there. Unfortunately, with no one else in the shop to assist her, she was left to her own devices with straightening up.
D'rorah eyed her mess warily. She decided not to waste time restoring it to its previous state. There was plenty of organizing to do. This shop was going to finally be sorted into a manner that would allow her to work without worrying about random avalanches of boxes. She couldn't understand why the previous owner hadn't already done so. Still, it was a monumental task. She rather hoped Professor Kade or at least someone would be by soon to assist.

A.J. stumbled into the wand shop. It had been a long time since he had first entered the wand shop. He remembered it as if it had happened only yesterday.... he wasn't much differant than then, but thinking about it made it seem so long ago to him.
He looked nervously around the room, costantly fiddling with the paper. He moved it between his fingers, accidentally smudging some parts of the ink. He nervously walked toward the counter, then suddenly he tripped. Whether it was over his own feet or something that lay on the floor unnoticed was beyond him. He felt himself falling and fell with a soft thump on the floor.
Slowly he got up, his face turned red with embarressment. He looked up at the woman and gave him the paper with a nod as if to say thank you mutely. He seemed to have lost his voice. A.J. brushed himself off, he had a way of making an entrance.
A.J. was wishing he hadn't accidently broken his wand over the summer. It embarressed him now, thinking about it. He had been playing around with it when suddenly...... he shook the thought out of his head to avoid turing a brighter shade of red.
Name: A.J. Cadioz Preferred Wand Length: 9 and 3/4in - 13in About: I need to durable, yet flexible and a good wand all around. I want to be able to preform complex magic with grace and elegance. I would like a wand to help me with my charms and transfiguration if possible. I want a wand to help me against whatever might try to harm me.... yet be useful in passive magic.

D'rorah watched A.J.'s entrance. She started to offer him a hand up, but he seemed so embarrassed already that she held herself back and watched him dust himself off. She never could understand why people seemed to nervous or frightened to come in for a new wand. She took the paper and read over it briefly. Having nearly finished reorganizing the store, she knew exactly where to find what she wanted.
"Pardon me, Mister Cadioz," she said after a moment. With that, she spun on her heel and disappeared into the back. When she returned, she held a long, thin white box. It had an almost iridescent quality to it, catching the light and throwing it off in rainbow patterns.
She set the box on the counter and lifted the lid, setting it aside. "Here we are, Mister Cadioz. Ten and one quarter inch teak with a unicorn tail hair core," she said, sliding the box closer to him. "Please, do try it to see if it will work for you."

A.J. grabbed the wand with his right hand. He was still somewhat embarressed but the red color began to drain out of his face again. He looked at the wand, it looked magnificant to him. Absolutely perfect in every way. For a moment it seemed to hypnotise him.
He raised the wand and pointed at a small forgotten box on the ground. A small mound of dust had begun to gather on it.
"Wingardium Leviosa!" he rectied.
The box instantly began to float in the air as if it were weightless. He raised the box higher, and higher before letting it frop to the ground with a soft thud.
"Thank you.... its perfect." he said smiling, "Ummm.... if it isn't to much to ask... who made the wand? Just out of curiosity."
