"Five points from Hufflepuff," he said disapprovingly as he looked at Leilani. Turning his attention, finally, away from her, he observed the pair in the corner for a moment or two, before seeing the other Ravenclaw, Mister Darko, and his Slytherin partner Keaira make their way over. Glad that some students, at least, were advancing through the work, he turned his attention back to the rest of the classroom. Seeing Mister Cooper leave the bubble, he looked to him in case he had a problem with the work or wished for something more. Seeing him simply offer to pair up with Susan, whom he'd just been about to admonish for not participating, he smiled, a movement that could have easily gone unnoticed to the unperceptive eye.
Hearing a request to leave, he nodded at Alessandro. "Of course, Mister-" His words were cut off by the sound of a spell, not in their curriculum for the day, from the back of the room. Having just been about to deduct points from Gat, his eyes widened as his wand appeared in his hand. Not entirely expecting it, he saw Alessandro return fire. "Boys!" he said loudly, pointing his wand at Gat, who had started the little duel. The last spell had been deflected, narrowly avoiding Dylan, who promptly fired back. Hearing yet another shout, this all happening in quick succession, he knew he needed to do something. Some students were even taking cover.
"Expelliarmus!" he shouted quickly, his wand pointed at Gat. Following up, he cast the same spell on the two Ravenclaw boys. Intending for them to each be disarmed and their wand to carry into his outstretched hand, his normally cheery demeanor was by now extremely diminished, an uncharacteristicly angry expression on his features.
The door opened once more to reveal yet another tardy student. "Miss Angevin, five points from Slytherin and sit down. Do not be late again." He was not asking, or requesting. Looking back to the boys, he looked very angry indeed.

'Wow what pissed him off' Ariana though taking a sit near the back. She pulled out paper and quill before having to raise her hand as she had no ink, just an empty broken bottle in the bottom of her bag with ink every where in it. Ariana put her wand in her lap and looked at the teacher. She looked around saw Gat along with Darko. She looked back at the teacher before looking around once more. Ariana licked her lips and relished her lip was bleeding. She raised her fingers to her lips and touched it before pulling back to look at the blood. She wiped the blood away with her sleeve. She looked at her now bloody sleeve and scowled at it. She just had her uniform cleaned.
((Left hand is raised and rights is the one she uses to find the blood with))

As Alessandro's wand jerked, and flew out of his hands and into a fuming Professor Archer's, he knew he had gotten into some deep trouble. His jaw clenched as he turned his gaze back to Gat. His eyes flickered darkly by the evil that had been held up inside his mind, growing, festering silently until it was strong enough to overcome him. He's not going to be so lucky next time... He thought maliciously as he fantasized about meeting Gat on the grounds or in the corridors unaware.
He closed his eyes and gained control over his rampant and venegful thoughts and turned to face Professor Archer. "I...I'm sorry....Professor. I was defending myself...as you can see, Mister Soldier had provoked me." He said as he picked up the strand of hair that had been cursed off and held it up.
"This can't be magically fixed!" He cried shaking the hair in front of his face as he looked at it remorsefully.

Seeing a fight break out in class, D'rorah prudently avoided the fray. She would protect herself if she had to, but she had already drawn enough unwanted attention from the Headmistress this year and didn't intend to draw any more. She watched as a spell rebounded off of a protection charm, nearly hitting Dylan, who was able to narrowly avoid it. She could see the anger in his eyes as he rose, indeed, there were a lot of angry looks passing around the room. And then, the Professor had taken the wands of the students involved and looked quite angry. But then, she assumed it only natural to look angry... she would certainly be angry if a fight broke out in a class where she was teaching. She stood there quietly, a pinched look on her face, as she waited to see how the events of the morning would play out. Alessandro's excuse of defense might play out with Archer, but it certainly wouldn't play out with her; she had warned him about this type of reaction before, specifically during the prank that had gone awry with Keaira and a basket full of ratty apples... or maybe it was appley rats.
Her own expression was becoming more and more indiscernible, except for a stony anger reflected in her eyes as she considered the actions of the boys in the classroom.

Susan hadn't a chance to respond to Dylan. Susan had backed against the wall in order to best avoid the obvious duel. Her previous dejected disposition was gone and she held her wand ready. She would deflect any spells that might come her way. Fortunately, Professor Archer stepped in before any real damage could be done. Except for Alessandro's poor hair, no one seemed to be really hurt.
Susan remained quiet, afraid for Dylan and Alessandro and to what their punishment might be. As for Gat, she wasn't so worried. She hadn't been really paying attention to what might have caused Gat's outburst. "What happened?" she whispered to Dylan, who was closest.

Keaira was about to ask if she could escort Alessandro to the infirmary when all chaos seemed to break loose in the classroom. As Keaira looked at Alessandro she noticed Gat turn around and then barely had the time to make sure she at her height of 5’10 wasn’t hit with the spell aimed for Alessandro’s hair. Shock overcame Keaira as she noticed how willing Gat was to do dark magic in a class that’s designed to defend from those same dark arts. With in just seconds what had started as a simple spell missing its target had escalated to a life threatening situation.
Keaira found that she herself could not risk jeopardizing her well being today. Things just were too important today to have her end up in the hospital for the rest of the day due to a stray curse. As the class played out she stayed out of the way, making sure the stray curses were avoided, and she remained unharmed.
When all the casting had reached its end with Professor Archers disarming of the boys she went to stand next to Alessandro, hoping that punishments were handled fairly. After all Alessandro had not asked to be attacked with a spell that was classified as dark magic, even if that meant another point blow for Slytherin. As she stood there, she suddenly became very aware of how stupid some of her fellow classmates were. Some people just couldn’t help but cause trouble, and for some reason she had been landed in a house full of them.

Gat didn't see Dylans spell coming. Though under his robe, his chest had become full dragon scale as to defend against Alessandro. Dylan's spell hit first. Gat slid back a bit under the blow. it hit him directly in the chest. But simple curses as this could not penetrate the scales of a dragon. But then Alessandro spell came at him. He was ready for his strike though. Before he could attack back his wand came out of his hand. Then Alessandro's spell hit him in the chest. Once again it did nothing. How weird it must have looked to everyone as he was hit by to spells head on and was not effected. He glared at the professor.

Frowning angrily as both his and Alessandro's spells hit, but did no damage, his wand was magically tugged from his hand. Coming to his senses at the action, Dylan cast his eyes downward, prepared to explain what he knew he could not. He turned to face the professor and heard a small whisper from beside him. "I'll tell you later," he muttered back to Susan, noticing the foreboading expression on Professor Archer's face.
Presuming he would be punished, and expecting no less, he waited for the reprimand to come, knowing he should not have reacted so rashly.

Three wands flying into his hand, he scowled at the culprits of disruption. "Everyone apart from you three," he began, indicating the boys. "Homework is a foot long essay on the use of fire in protecting yourself from inferi. For the three of you who were late, make sure to read up on grindylows, inferi and the Revulsion jinx. Class is dismissed."
"You three, here, now." His tone of voice was much harsher than usual, because while he was slightly angry, he also knew that he could not show any toleration whatsoever of these kinds of actions. To do so would almost encourage duelling in his classes, something that he most certainly did not wish for. Thinking briefly about the fact that it was his first lesson relieving Defence Against the Dark Arts, and how Mordred had never had a fight whilst he was teaching, as well as the fact that he had a meeting with the Headmistress after this, his frown deepened. He hadn't remembered the meeting until now. Waiting impatiently for the rest of the class to depart, he noticed there was only five minutes left of normal classtime anyway.

Susan nodded at Dylan and began to gather her things to leave. Many of her papers as well as the people next to hers had been blown away from the force of Gat's spell. Quickly making a note of the homework assigned, she also decided that she should try the revulsion spell out on her own. With her things messily tucked into her bag, she smiled weakly at Dylan and Alessandro, hoping that the majority of the punishment would go to Gat. She left quickly, heading for the Gryffindor common room to get started on her essay and practicing the use of the spell she'd missed in class.

Jason picked himself up off the floor. What a class. He hurried back to where he'd left Lei lying on the cushion. He offered his hand to help her up a second time, his mouth moving slightly as if trying to speak before any words had come to mind. Finally he managed to stammer out an apology.
"Sor . . . sorry. I'm sorry if that was rough. I kinda just reacted. You ok?"
He wasn't sure what to think. He wasn't even sure what had happened. Keeping his back to the front of the room, looked to the exit, waiting for Lei to respond and making sure he didn't look at any of the duelists. He hadn't caught a good glimpse of any of the three in the chaos that had erupted and wasn't sure he wanted to know their identities. None of them seemed the type he wanted to associate with, flinging hexes about in a full classroom. He hadn't even recognized the first to go off. Sectum sempra?

D'rorah's gaze moved from Gat, to Alessandro, to Dylan, lingering on its last destination the longest. She remained in the spot where she stood quietly as the other students began to leave. She intended to hear exactly what the punishments would be. She now had the rather tedious task of figuring out exactly how this would affect their group. Perhaps it would have no effect at all; after all, Gat had been the one to carelessly attack the others with no provocation. Of course, Dylan and Alessandro's responses were certain to warrant punishment of some sort.
This, certainly, was one of the last things they needed. Could Professor Archer possibly expel all three of them? What would they do if two of the Elemental Masters were sent away from Hogwart's. Her face revealed nothing as she stood and waited to see what would come about.

Leilani winced at the professor’s words and let out a little sigh. Great first impressions lay, now the whole of Hufflepuff’s probably waiting outside the classroom door to take you out. Leilani wasn’t expecting the next thing, right when Jason had helped her up from the floor she was back down at his same hand. “Ow,” Leilani slammed down on her knees, looking bewildered into his face, but he had already gone.
There was quite an emotion overhead; her curiosity brought her looking over the top of her desk. It seemed that three boys had been overtaken in a dull. The professor had stopped it too fast for anything extremely fascinating to happen. Leilani slumped back down in her floor position, letting out a sigh, she had missed the most interesting part of class. Jason had hurried back to her after his sudden disappearance. Leilani looked at him a bit questioningly waiting for his reasoning to throw her on the floor.
A forgiving expression crossed her face, as she realized that he was only trying to protect her. “O, I’m alright, besides, it was the thought that counted,” she laughed, taking his offered hand as she brushed off her knees. Hearing the professor’s words she looked sadly upon the three boys. “We better get out of here,” she whispered softly to Jason. Grabbing her things and his hand she began walking hurriedly out of the classroom. Atleast I wasn’t the one to get in the most trouble today. It was a sad thought, she really wished she had seen the whole ordeal, though.

He was fuming. He knew Professor Archer was quite incensed as he had three students blatantly duelling in his class. He angrily threw down the lock of hair that had been cursed off as it fluttered to the ground in separate strands. He walked over to where Professor Archer was standing as he had indicated that the three of them needed to come forward as he was seemingly ready to dole out punishment.
Alessandro stood next to Archer as he held his head down with a clenched jaw, shooting furtive glances at Gat. How was he able to resist the effects of a furnunculus, AND densaugeo spell... He sneered at the thought of his magic being remedial as he knew quite well that it was no such. He ran a hand through his hair grasping the lock that had been cropped, glancing at it. He sighed as he knew that it would have to grow back normally as he had read somewhere that the object that sectumsempra severs cannot be repaired by magic due to the curse being of dark magic.
He exploded with fury inside as he remembered this fact and would most likely have killed Gat if the professor was not there. Alessandro never realized the extent of his vanity until now.
He looked up at the professor and swallowed, bracing himself for their sentencing.

Jason barely had time to snatch his own bag as Lei dragged him towards the door. He was frowning thoughtfully as he walked, not resisting the pull as he certainly didn't want to stick around. He didn't enjoy seeing others punished any more than he reveled in it himself. His eyes were down, not really seeing anything. He was thinking about all that had happened since he woke up and realized he was late for class. Losing points, hurting himself a little in his multiple crashes, dealing with the embarrassment of the first two. A duel going off around him. And that spell. He couldn't get it out of his head. Why hadn't he heard of it before? What a great class. His thoughts dripped with sarcasm.
Jason was quite adept at focusing on the negative and completely missing the upside of things. As his eyes focused on Lei's hand gripping his as she led him out of the classroom though, the corners of his mouth twitched upward and he realized perhaps there wasn't much sarcasm in that thought.
