Keaira did nothing but watch as the boys were sentenced. She knew that the stakes for both sides were high. She would be losing points for her own house, points that she had worked hard enough as it was to gather, being on time, answering questions correctly, and finding constructive uses of her free time. Things she had been rewarded for. Now they were all swept away, all her hard earned work just gone. Then there was the other side of the story. Alessandro would have less free time if he was in detention for the next month, Time that he would not be able to spend writing to her… and then when she returned it would be time he would not be spending with her either… The plus side was however, if he was busy in detention he wouldn’t be busy taking trips to the elf kitchen with Susan…
She cast them each worried looks; there was one other thing that she had not taken in to thoughts. Training. How would D’rorah resume proper training of the group if half of them were missing? This turn of events did throw a wrench in to the plans. Although if the light fighters could not train due to detentions, gat surely would be hard pressed to train as well. And therefore they would be equally handicapped. When Gat took his leave, Keaira felt the slight wave of contempt overcome her, if there was one thing that could set her off it was stupidity, and gat had a full deck of it. Not only did he overreact, but he then used evil, and dark magic, and followed it up with a disrespectful attitude to the professor, and then a nonchalant attitude as he left. Acting as if he hadn’t almost caused a disaster. Keaira thought of a plan for revenge later, but she had to focus on other things at this time, revenge would wait.
As Alessandro made his way nearer to her position she got a good look at the place where his hair had been prematurely severed from the rest of his locks. It made a small change in his appearance, but Keaira thought that just maybe he looked cuter with it chopped shorter. She tried to put up a bit of a comforting smile, but his expression wore down her resolution to try and cheer him up. Instead she opted for a different approach. As he moved in to touching distinct she reached up her arm, intending to run her finger through his hair, and get a bit of a feel for its new length.
“You know, maybe you needed a bit of a hair cut.” He words flowed out with a smile slowly forming to her lips as she paused to let the words sink in a bit before finishing her comments. “But, next time, lets use the scissors ok?” She smiled, a bit knowing that he might take it badly, but hoping that everything would be fine.
